I live in an apartment owned by a yoruba person and most of the tenant are Igbos, I cant really say the same for Igbos owned houses in Igbo land. Also I have a friend who told me his father stopped renting houses to Igbos because they always create problem when thie tenancy elapse and he decides not to rent to Igbos.

No Igbo man can deny that he doesn't know Anambra Indigenes do "I better pass my neighbor" to Igbos from other states.

I am not a biggot tribalism man. Honestly, my experience renting your apartment to an Ibo people was so horrible. When one man rent an apartment from you, within a twinkle of an eye , he will go to the village to bring a lot of people to the apartment. When you start questioning him , he would explained to you they are my brothers. After , they turned the compound to a party grounds and making very serious noise disturbing fellow tenants in the compound at the middle of the night. Coming home very late by 2-3am. At the end you will not see the guy that originally got the house from you. Looking for him for several months. When you tell the caretaker to give him quit notice you will not see him to serve notice. They will pay the first one year rentage but subsequent years you will not see him but the boys. The Ibo are very difficult tenants and that is the reason why some Lagos landlords don't like to rent their apartment to them. It is not hatred or racism.

Igbos don't pay house rent on time . That's why most landlords are always reluctant to give them house.

It is not about outsmarting any one. Infact, igbos are not even smart grin

My landlord is an Idoma, his daughter married an Igbo man and they both leave together in the compound as caretaker.
The husband is against allowing Igbo into the compound.
I don't know why
But mehn the compound is so so full of issues

I am not trying to put Yoruba down, read my other post, I worked in an Igbo owned company in Lagos in wich no Yoruba man was hired. Tribalism cuts across all tribes in Nigeria.

Sincerely, Seun wherever you are, you need to examine the heads of some of the so called mods you have on this platform before they ruin it totally.

Imagine the topic, yet some so called Igbos started derailing and the senseless individual never did anything to correct them. But when the Yorubas started giving it back to them, they were either banned or had their comments deleted.

You people need to grow up.

People try to deny this is happening. I have an Igbo lady who lied to the landlord that she was from Benin to get a shop. We try to avoid these issues instead of addressing them and we turn around to cry racism when we get a dose of our own medicine.
