Kids of this age take everything for granted. How will you be thinking your centre is somewhere instead of knowing. When its was our time to write Jamb, we bragged about our venues. I even travelled to another state to write Jamb. Everywhere in Nigeria will write Jamb sameday. So I will now travel to Lagos comprehensive instead of Sambisa comprehensive model school in Borno. Set of unserious element. Na woman he follow go. When our time we dey collect numbers come house.

That was the High School I attended when I was in Nigeria. That was when that school was still run with grants from the Ford Foundation, in the USA. We used to have exchange teachers coming in during Summer time to lecture us. That country used to be good.

You don't start looking for your Exam Center, Interview Venue or Catching Plane flight and any other strictly time-base appointment few minutes to engagement Time.
If possible, be proactive, checkout the place and correct any mistakes/misgivings Day-before.

By the way, if he left him very early, he would have arrived at the exact venue in good time, after discovering his error.

That was when children or students were not being spoon fed. Nowadays, they even want the parents to sit the exam for them if it were to be possible.

If his parents can afford it, private school is still there. It is not the end of the world

You should learn to check the next few days to your exam next time. Where are his parents? They were supposed to assist him in checking his center a day or two to the day of his exam. He should learn a vocational skill till he prepare for next JAMB. Na Facebook and WhatsApp dem sabi. Sorry as you jamb JAMB. Don't allow JAMB to jamb you pls.

and too daft ..when I wrote AKAMB decades ago ..we used to go to the centre know the place first before the exam day be mentally prepared
