I recently completed my engineering degree at a prestigious federal university just two weeks ago, having enrolled in 2017 after deferring for a year due to self-sponsorship and a lack of job opportunities.

As is tradition at my university, all new engineering graduates are inducted into the NSE under the GMNSE cadre.

Here's my current dilemma: I am required to pay #35k for the induction process, but I currently only have 10k on hand. The deadline is quickly approaching—it's this Friday, the 26th.🙏🙏

Dear members of NL, I am reaching out for your support. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide to help me complete the induction process alongside my peers🙏🙏🙏. Despite graduating with a 2.1, it's disheartening to face exclusion from induction due to a shortfall of 25k.

Please consider contributing to my crowdfunding efforts. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.

you don't need the induction. You can enroll yourself online and become a graduate member for way less than 10k.

Hahah. So Spot on bro. That induction is just one of NSE's money making avenue. Except for general photograph and memories, he doesn't need it. They won't deny him his certificate because of it. The most important aspect of NSE cadres is the Corporate membership which if he passes, will automatically qualify him to apply for COREN. So he shud go and relax. Highest, he won't get the white helmet.

Our induction was done when I was serving, so opted to get mine online for 2.5k when my colleagues paid about 12k for pictures and ceremony
