Likes of gidgiddy likes to open senseless threads claiming SE has a coastal beach front.

Can you explain why the ongoing coastal highway isn't connecting directly to your fabled coastal SE state?

Na where the fuming about the projects came from be that.

Instead of them to ask this salient question .

It's actually questionable . I mean their representatives couldn't even fight for the projects to pass across their region

There is no way it can pass through any south east to achieve it goal.

Make una dey travel, una no gree.

Do you know you have to go to the East before going to Cross River or Kogi or Benue?

If you pass it through south east it will be longer and take more time to reach.

Cross River is the only state that will enjoy the road or maybe Akwa Ibom because it's two hours journey or so to reach Calabar.

Normally Nigerians are too slow. The road is estimated to be a 7 hours drive from lagos. If you make it to pass through south east and it take 12 hours or more. What was the need since they already go through south east for more than 15 hours from lagos.

You will stay in one village and be talking about a place you have never seen before because you simply learned new language.

What is the reason for building the road because Cross River is not offering much to lagos?

South East already has road. If they want to use the road as would be the case they can. If it takes seven hours to get to Calabar and Three hours to get to most south east state.

If you compare it with the regular road and it's faster and cheaper. Why would you not take it.

If it pass through south east, they will not get to Calabar in less than 10 to 12 hours which has defeated the objective.

Everything is not about my people my people.

If Nigeria is better your people will enjoy it, my people will enjoy it. If I corner everything, I will be rich sure but the pressure of the poor coming to take from me will make we poor or less well managed.

Let Calabar enjoy fast home going for once at least most of the can easily visit home once they come to lagos

Atiku who 1st complained is from the south east, abi?

Meanwhile you are conspicuously missing on the thread that exposes how your principals (Buhari and Tinubu) took Nigeria 18 years backwards.

Is it the same complained Atiku was talking about,AA was only talking about cost not about the route

It’s a coatal road and the SE is landlocked so how will it pass

The road is to open up tourism

I can see why people from the erosion ravaged enclave are pained

Op didn't say the complain is about the road not passing through the SE, instead he's using the fact that it didn't pass through the SE as prove that the SE doesn't have coastal areas. Then the guy I quoted added that the SE is complaining about the road because it doesn't pass through their states when everyone like Atiku is complaining about the cost, the secrecy, misrepresentation and lack of competition/due process in awarding the contract, plus the tolling.
