Hey Azaman! Yes, you!

Financial Literacy is the possession of the requisite knowledge, skills and behavioural traits that will enable a person continually make sound financial decisions daily. - The Azaland Project

Financial Literacy skills are a must-have in order to be able to build sustainable wealth, avoid scams, invest wisely, bank smarter, avoid bad business decisions, and understand the financial implications of even your non-financial decisions.

A popularly referenced S&P research revealed the following:

1. Only 1 out-of 3 people in Africa is financially literate. Are you that one? If not, it could be the reason you lost badly in that business deal, or fell for that scam, or failed to realise that it was time to pull out of that position before the crash that made you lose so much money. Knowledge is power!

2. The level of financial literacy in more developed nations are higher. Hence Africa is worst.

Further... "The Azaland Project" asserts that...

3. African economy like Nigeria keeps witnessing myriads of new and dynamic financial products and services.

4. In order to decide wisely, now is the time to understand the basics of money management and modern personal finance, smarter banking and more.

5. Many financial products are unhealthy and should even be avoided. Some loans are business killers, or they end up throwing you into debts. Why would you patronise loan sharrks? Deaperation or lack of knowledge of better alternatives? But how would the people know if they don't have the required skills and knowledge to differentiate?

6. Children should have basic financial skills and knowledge taught to them by parents right from home.

7. Schools should wake up just like parents to inculcate financial education alongside core subjects.

8. The government must wake up too and realise that a more financially literate population is better as it yields even better GDP and even less crimes.

9. A robust financial literacy program should not be limited to financial decisions only. Most non-financial decisions have financial implications. Hence, we must think of financial implications of all decisions. That is the only way to avoid the common fire-fighting approach dilemma.

10. The AZA Gems is the driver of all the Azaland Projects: establishment of financial literacy clubs, seminars, shows, lectures, workshops, online programs and many more.

11. Your support is received as you make the AZA Gems more known and popular. As the adoption increases, you'd be adding value to yourselves and the project, creating wealth both in knowledge and asset value to yourself and others.

12. Modern Slavery: this is financial bondage and related scams. The Azaland Project will fight this and win. Let's support.

13. Scams and frauds succeed most of the time simply because the victims lack the wherewithal to recognise signals of scam, and the scammer takes advantage of this ignorance.

14. At Azaland, we are on a mission to eradicate financial illiteracy in mother Africa, partnering with all relevant stakeholders, including you.

15. In fact, we believe financial literacy skills are lacking in many people in positions of power. How won't foreign predator nations keep enslaving us with financial tactics like heavy foreign debts?

16. We also believe that new technologies like Blockchain is being repelled by many authorities because of an identified knowledge gap. Hence, financial education by Azaland encompasses both fiat currencies and the power and positives ofblockchain technology, without forgetting to point out the risks inherent. Hence, we are driving this with the AZA tokens, which will help us scale even beyond borders, regimes and geography.

17. Finally, we believe that many oppressive regimes, fraudulent businesses like some gambling/betting apps) and some capitalist employers are crafty and using people's Financial illiteracy situation as weapons of slavery and scam. The Azaland Project is coming for them!!!
