Good evening all. Just had a heated discussion on Charles Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, and modern evolution theory.

Was Evolution taught in your school?

For me, my teachers would always say 'dont mind those white people. Na dem be monkyy'. I didn't even give it a single thought till I was around 23.

Learning it gave me a better appreciation of the natural world around and its beauty and uglinees and everything in between.

My secondary school teachers were too religiously bigoted to teach it. One was a Muslim and the other a Christian so they just mentioned it in passing. We even had several charts on the wall with the information but because they were too stuck up, nobody paid any attention to it. I didn't study any biology in Uni but the school has a Museum of Natural Science and it was enlightening visiting it.

It was taught, and we read the textbooks both from Nigerians and foreigners. There is nothing special about it. The main point about no God still remains pointless, and unrelated to evolution in the sense that there is one. And of course, we did not come from animals, there is NO proof, all faith.

Sure, it was taught in my school and my teachers said exactly the same thing, which of course after the teaching, we thought about it and we all agreed it was surely mad and senseless.

And even now i am grown it still does not make sense, and no one is able to point out the valid sense it has and the use/value of it.

And since then i have been wondering why Darwin said that shit because it does not male sense, especially when surrounded by all the other topics which made perfect sense.

But now, i know, that Darwin said that lie of half Truth, so that devils could have a chance at lying to people using the wicked power of half truth.
