OVER 10 cars caught fire as a result of fuel tanker explosion along Eleme section of the East-West Road in Rivers State on Friday night. Four people reportedly died in the inferno. It was gathered that a tanker laden with petroleum products exploded, affecting other vehicles in the area. The incident which was reported to have started around 9:15pm occurred adjacent to the Indorama Petrochemical Company located along the Akpojo-Onne axis of the East-West Road. In a video now circulating on social media, a witness claims that the fire has been razing for over four hours and firefighters are yet to arrive at the scene. Any time East West road is mentioned, I remember that efulefu Jonathan who spent his lifetime as a president trying to please the north.
