I believe the end is coming soon.


The middle east is getting ready for the terrible times prophesied.disasters,killings and all Christ predicted are happening in quick succession like we have never seen.
Evangelical icons are being exposed for abominable deeds.(Ted Haggard comes to mind).Pastors preaching on marriage and families are divorcing(Juanita Bynum,Paula White).
Gay rights are becoming more tolerable.We even have gay priests.Abomination!
The church has largely mixed with the society.there is little or no difference.
The church has shifted focus on love and souls to glamour and glory.
Few people want to hear and do the truth.
False prophets are on rampage.Just chek out a large percentage of religous posters littering the city.
Christians rarely preach of heaven,not to talk of hell.its more focused on either breaktroughs,covenants of blessing,firing ur enemies,moving to the next level,becoming a leader.motivational speakers can do that easily.we have left the weightier issues for junk ones.

the signs are so many.i hope someone else will add something to my liittle take.

Lest i forget,its also so hard to pray and preach this days.the devil brings a lot of distractions and strategies.Lord help me!!!

The disciples of Jesus asked: "what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?''{Matt24:3,KJV}. Here the world  ''end" is SUNTELEIA in Greek, which means " the end as a long period." Inhis answer Jesus first mentioned the appearance of false christ, wars, rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes,false prophets, ans lawlessness {vs4-12}. Then He continued: "for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet" {vs6, KJV}. Here the word for END is different, the Greek ''TELOS,'' which means the END as a finishing point.'' To illustrate, consider Noah's times: the SUNTELEIA of his time began from the  moment he started to preach about the DELUGE, but the TELOS was the point when the door of the ark was closed {probation}.

All the negative signs around us; the wars, famines, pestilences, rumors of wars, earthquakes, and so on, indicate that the SUNTELEIA has begun. What should God's people do when these signs takes place? Should we praise the Lord because we soon will go to heaven? No. We should remember that those things are signs of SUNTELEIA, not  signs of TELOS.
   Then when does the TELOS come? Jesus tells us;  '' And THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM shall be  preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the END come'' {Vs14 KJV]. Here the END is TELOS, the finishing point. thus when the negative signs of the SUNTELIA are taking place, we sshould recognize that the responsibility to bring to an end these calamities is upon us. In the time of signs of SUNTELIA, we must lift up our heads to see the needs of a dying world, to hear the good news of salvation. This is not time to be thankful for our redemption, but the time to feel  sympathy and responsibility for the redemption of the world. We must fulfill THE SIGN and not just OBSERVE THE SIGNS.

Do not harden your heart when you hear the good news of His coming, for it will not tarry, He that will come, will come.

The end may be coming but to justify it with what you have used is just a confirmation that the end in itself is here.

Because there are now credit card, flash me cash etc in Nigeria, then the end is near? what about in those countries where these had been in used since a lonnnng time ago? what will you say then, will u not say then that the time is tommorrow if you live in those countries?

Using the advent of technology to justify that the end is near is a complete bravado, because if u think deeply, you will see how technology has increased the spread of God's word and how many people have been able to encounter these words because of technology. Will you prefer the biblical time when wagons and camels were means of transportation to this modern day cars, train, airplanes etc? Does that mean because of these developments, then the end is here? No no no - fa fa fa fooul.

The Endtime for the Church
A leader at the Confidence Charismatic Church in Kumasi, Reverend Isaac Osei is in police custody for allegedly raping two sisters.
A source at the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DVVSU) of the Ashanti Regional Police Command said that after his arrest, Pastor Osei a.k.a Kumbaya denied the allegation by the younger of the two sisters aged 19, but claimed in his caution statement that the elder sister, aged 21 was his girlfriend and that she consented to have sex with him.
The police source said the police were waiting for separate medical reports on the two sisters to provide details on the alleged rape, possible pregnancy and their HIV status.
According to the police, the eldest sister alleged that there was a revival by another church at Atonsu in Kumasi last month at which Pastor Osei appeared as a guest preacher.
The two sisters attended the revival where Pastor Osei was said to have prayed for them against any attacks by the devil.
The eldest sister was then asked by the pastor to call him during the free night calls period so that "they can talk for a longer time".
The source said when the lady failed to make the call on the appointed day, Pastor Osei invited the two sisters the following day to his residence but again, the sisters failed to honour the invitation.
However, on the morning of August 26, 2007, the younger sister visited the pastor and returned very late in the evening.
The following day the elder sister called the pastor on his mobile phone and he asked her to visit him in his house at Aprade in Kumasi.
When she went, according to the police, the pastor asked her to cook for him and after preparing the food they ate together after which the man asked the woman to retire to his room to relax before going home.
After an initial reluctance, she later agreed and while there the Pastor fol¬lowed up where he forcibly had sex with her.
The source said when the lady returned home she broke the story to her younger sister who also revealed that the pastor did a similar thing to her the previous day.
They then informed their parents and a report was made to the police.
The pastor is to appear before a Kumasi Court today to face a preliminary charge of rape.

There is no endtime, how is that for bursting your baloney? And of course christians don't want to hear it. I remember several times through history even back up to a thousand years, the end was near.

What makes you think God gives a hoot? And what is his reason for waiting this long? some are already in hell suffering-- and others die 5thousand years later? God knows it's unfair so he has decided he aint coming back.

It absoultely would not be fair to me if I had gone to hell and stayed 5 thousand years just for telling a simple lie, and to share the same punishment with a serial killer that arrived two hours ago. See I'm speaking God's mind here and now.

it's not God that let them start their tenure in hell ahead of time. So you can't say it's not fair.
And there's no such thing as a "simple lie".
jesus said the ONLY qualification for heaven is truth, righteousness and Holiness which are only possible by second birth in JESUS, so it does'nt matter if it's small or big once it breaks His requirements it's hell for you, go read your bible.
