It's a form of written language for people who are blind, those characters you see on the Naira notes are simply meant to represent patterns of raised dots that are felt with the fingertips, this help to differentiate between the different notes and their respective values.

These set of currencies are only for the blind or visually impaired. They can not be rich so the Nigeria government didnt bother to do it on paper denominations.

Why don't other denominations like #100-#1000 have the symbol??
Secondly the symbols are not even imprinted like brail writings
