Infinix released the GT 10 Pro, its first gaming smartphone, in August of last year.

And on the 26th of April, during a worldwide launch event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the firm, as anticipated, introduced the Infinix GT 20 Pro, the replacement for the GT 10 Pro.

The Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, together with 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, powers the Infinix GT 20 Pro.

The smartphone comes pre-installed with XOS 14, and Infinix has assured users of two Android version updates and three years of security patches.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro is the first smartphone from the company to include two processors, thanks to the addition of a Pixelworks X5 Turbo dedicated gaming display chip.

For a fluid gaming experience, the chip uses Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation (MEMC) game frame rate interpolation to increase frame rates from 60 FPS to up to 120 FPS.

It can also raise the quality of the image.

To further ensure a steady framerate during gaming, the Infinix GT 20 Pro has a stable frame-rate engine.

According to the manufacturer, the smartphone can operate at "ultra-stable operation" for an hour while maintaining a native frame rate of up to 120 FPS.

According to Infinix, the frame rate of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), Genshin Impact, and Honkal: Star Rail is up to 120 FPS, while the frame rate of Free Fire, Call of Duty (COD), and Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is up to 90 FPS.

Additionally, the Infinix GT 20 Pro has an Esports Mode that is designed for professional eSports situations and is meant to improve the device's performance to par with a gaming console.

Additionally, the principal heat source area for targeted cooling now has more than 66% thermal conductivity, and the phone has an onboard VC liquid cooling system that is 73% larger (perhaps compared to the previous generation) to keep it cool.

A Phase Change Material (PCM) sheet that is 68% larger is another feature of the GT 20 Pro.

The device also has an attractive design.

It has a Cyber Mecha Design with a turbine blade layout that emphasises speed, metal, and power.

Additionally, the phone has a Mecha Loop LED interface, which means that it's back panel has RGB LEDs that can be customised to enable eight colour combinations and four different lighting effects.

Three games are supported by the lighting effects in games: Free Fire, which allows for intense combat and aiming, MLBB, which only supports first kills, solo kills, and multi-kills, and PUBG, which does not enable driving, aim, or fire.

You may also alter the lighting effects for charging, music playback, incoming calls, and notifications.

An X-axis linear vibration motor is also included in the GT 20 Pro for enhanced haptic feedback.

The phone's 6.78" 144Hz FullHD+ LTPS AMOLED display, which has a punch-hole in the centre for the 32MP front camera, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits, is its main feature.

It's rear features a Samsung HM6 with OIS 108MP primary camera, which is paired with two 2MP (perhaps depth and macro) units.

A 5,000 mAh battery with 45W charging support powers the entire system.

Highlights of the Infinix GT 20 Pro also feature an in-display fingerprint reader, USB-C, NFC, and 5G connectivity.

In addition, the smartphone has two JBL-tuned speakers that play DTS and Hi-Res audio.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro will come in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants, and will be coloured Mecha Orange, Mecha Silver, and Mecha Blue.

Local launches will provide information on regional pricing and sales.

Additionally, Infinix declared that the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) will use the GT 20 Pro as it's official gaming phone.

It happens in central and South Asia from May 22, 2024 to June 16, 2024, and in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from May 15, 2024 to June 9, 2024.
