She probably did that and it didn’t work or currently doing that. DE and First year UTME come out at different times. See ya mouth! Fear nor catch to say best graduate first class is not intelligent. Any thing you can think about, she has thought about it. Even thought about traveling abroad. Be sure she has her reason which does not include lack of intelligence

With her B.Sc Chemistry in America, she would have just three years of medical school to work through in order to become a certified MD

The school fees over those three years are an entirely different matter though. She'd have to pay the entire sum from under her own power

Why not just do direct entry

First class in bio chemistry can easily get you to second year med-sug
. Dey play . No guarantee.

Direct entry would have been better. Anyway, congratulations to her

Why did she study chemistry to end by wasting 4 - 6 years when she has ambition to medical doctor.

Nawaoo

Some people get time to waste.

Depends on what she wants to do. If she does PhD in chemistry with her heart in medicine, she might not finish the course (PHD is where they separate men from boys. Hearing people who went through PHD's horror tales....

It depends...basically, you can do a degree in any course, and then go on to read medicine, provided you pass the MCAT. Of course you may need to sign up for courses in the sciences while doing your undergrad course.

example of people who did not read typical pre med courses, yet became doctors.

1.Ed Roberts.. computer and electronics engineer, who later became a doctor.

Another field, it shouldn't be medicine. She might even struggle with medicine, sometimes dream is not enough, are you wired to excel in that particular field?

She believes in Nigeria so much. I love her faith. But faith aside now. She is trying to waste her time and first class degree. In this country where nothing seems to be working. She wants to embark on another 8 tortous journey into the walls of the university in Nigeria. Doctors now de japa.

Hope she gets it..see dedication.

Be Careful Please

Run as fast as you can from anything called Insurance Company in Nigeria. They are all Scammers. They don't pay claims..

Example. IGI INSURANCE COMPANY

As a graduate with first class I expect that she should score 400 or at least 399 yet she doesn't even have the highest score.

Except she has a good financial muscle if not it won't be easy for her since she's going for medicine.

Chemistry isn’t among the relevant degrees which qualify for direct entry into Medicine and Surgery.

It's very easy as far it's the same school.

First class is powerful
. that is a lie. It is not easy at all. who told you that she has not tried that before. I tried that shit during my undergraduate days and i hear ham. Most times the department is not ready to allow their best students cross to anoda dept. also the receiving department are not ready to accommodate some one else due to lack of space

even as a graduate , you stand a better chance of gaining admission through JAMB than direct entry. It is even worst when the course is competitive like Medicine. Most schools give 80% admission to jamb while 20 goes to D.E

Take MCAT, and then proceed for 3-4 years MD in American-based system rather than less prestigious British MBBS, MBBCh.
