Many candidates are looking for alternative options to check their 2024 JAMB results as fast as possible.

Before considering using another SIM card, it's important to note that it is not possible. You won't be able to use any other SIM card from a mobile network provider, apart from the phone number you use in the first place to send the SMS for result checking.

The standard format is still the same, by just sending a message in the following format:

"RESULT (space) JAMB Registration Number" to the designated JAMB shortcode (usually 55019).

Just make sure that the SIM card you're using is active, has sufficient airtime balance or credit, and is capable of sending SMS messages.

To access your JAMB results via SMS is only possible because you linked your JAMB registration number to your phone number during the registration process. So, as long as the SIM card you're using is capable of sending SMS messages and is linked to your JAMB registration number, you should be able to check your results successfully.

If you're using a different SIM card than the one you used during JAMB registration (which is impossible), endure that the new SIM card is linked to the same phone number or account. If your reasons is due to lost sim card or stolen phone, you can easily retrieve your phone number from the network provider used to register JAMB.
