I have said it before and will say it again. There is nothing wrong in all of these spiritual gathering ONLY if it TRANFORMS the lives of the people and such transformation reflect in their lifestyle. otherwise, it is a religious activities that looks like God is in it but not. We are the most religious gathering attendants in nigeria but still our society is highly corrupt, who are the people attending these churches and mosques. Lets us look inward. Revival and repentance could happen anywhere such as in Shiloh 2011 or Holy Ghost conference but true repentance is from within.

In the view of God's word, I see that the church of Jesus has lost her focus. 90% of nigerians are living below average and hence, poor. The government in the bible is not aso rock, the government is Jesus and if we are the followers of jesus, we hold the responsibilities of government. I am not judging any man here but in my heart and in the light of God's word, i think it's not christ-like for a church to have 4 jets not to talk of a man having 4 jets in the name of spreading the gospel while there are poor in the same church, jobless in the same church etc. I am blessed and contented. If God blesses me in such i could buy a jet as a christian. I would rather spend it to bless the poor than buy such jet. Job 36:11. Prosperity is the heritage of believers and faithful stewardship but I see materialism in the church of Jesus.

Also, as regards mood of worship with handerchief or oil. Jesus did not lay down such example but it happened through paul. It wasnt Paul who gave handkerchief to the people. It was the people that came with handerkerchief on their own with faith in their heart to touch the body of Paul inorder to go touch their sick ones who were not physically present due to their illness, and this is faith, not giving handkerchief to people. If this handkerchief of a thing is Jesus' teaching, then the celestia church people will be righ by going to bath in beach.

Am not here to condemn anyone but this is the bible, we r contending for the faith and we must beware of being misled in our hunger for quick miracles not minding how it comes, right or wrong. God help us.

@goshen360, ur actually a good thinker, u just reasoned like an adult that peers into d scriptures, like i asked some1 on this forum, how many times do they hav to obtain handkerchiefs and olive oils b4 all there sicknesses wil be gone??, they recieve handkerchiefs and visit d hospitals more than i do, the miracles performed in d churches r never instanteneous and absolute, never did Jesus heal a person and then it was later found out that d person stil had d ailment intact, or his apostles, wen they cured it was final and accurate, and more important,Jesus went to meet d peoples out there in there homes and in d market places and on d streets and handled wateva problems he encountered, he was not like d big men pastors today who expect there slave follwers to invite people to there crusades or healin school, wen Jesus walked by and met even situations concernin d dead he resurected them, d same wit d apostles, neither d miracles performed by Jesus and d early apostles were pre-planned or was done in a healn school format, they were strictly impromptu and open to eye witnesses, d day these proud pastors wil start movin from house to house just like Jesus did and help people and preach d gospel,then i'l believ them, becos they r notin like our master Jesus who was humble and took a slaves form, instead they want d 1st place,they lord it over there followers and want to be treated like kings and b called big big titles like DADDY and PAPA, let them learn from Jesus thats all true christianity wants from them

The church need to start taking the roles of our government and not necessarily being rebelious to the government. The church is worthless today because we have lost our flavour to the world. LET THE CHURCHES IN NIGERIA START FEEDING THE POOR, GIVING FREE OR AFFORDABLE EDUCATION, SOLVING UNEMPLOYMENT PROBLEMS, LET'S START GOING EVERYWHERE LIKE JESUS DOING GOOD TO OUR COMMUNITIES AND SAVE THIS DYING GENERATION, LET'S START EMPOWERING PEOPLE FOR BETTER LIVING AND CREATE EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, LET'S TAKE CARE OF ORPHANS, MOTHERLESS AND FATHERLESS GENERATION, LET'S SOW SEEDS INTO OUR FUTURE FOR GENERATIONS YET UNBORN AND LET'S STOP ALL THESE RELIGIOUS FANTASIES THAT DOESN'T GLORIFY GOD. Let me clarify some things here.

Talking about the people who go to prophetic Christian gathering like Shiloh: People who work at soap factory could remain dirty as long as they want to, the fact that they work in a soap-producing industry doesn't meant they'll be clean. So also many people who are oppressed and afflicted with sickness and poverty in this country, the presence of churches doesn't guarantee their automatic deliverance. Due to their unbelief, people in Jesus town were not able to receive their healing, so many cases of Nigerians. The power to heal them is there, still working but without faith it is impossible to please God, and once you can't please, you can't receive anything from Him.

Talking about the wealth of these men of God: for God's sake this is their profession, if you work hard in your own field too you can ride a yacht. Their wealthy status is not the reason why majority of Nigerians are poor. If a man should stop going to church, he'll be the loser at the end of the day. God doesn't need you to bless Him, so also His servants. Likening them to Jesus, if there were jets in His days, I'm sure He'll ride one, but He rode a donkey which was available.

Talking about those that were healed and got sick again: at every instance of healing in the days of Jesus, the healed person is expected to return to Jesus so He can bless the healed and remain whole. Or else the ailment might come back, remember the story of the ten lepers, the only one that came back was made whole. So also the woman with the issue of blood, she acknowledged her healing and she was made whole too. This is it: if you have been healed of God, don't go back to your old sinful ways lest something worse happens to you, said Jesus.

We have the poor, homeless, high unemployment they can contribute to etc. I was shocked when i heard of Adeboye that i used to respect so much recently mandated tithe for members of RCCG n aparently no wedding would be conducted for non tithe paying members or workers in rccg. These are wolves preaching in wolves church and imagine the spirit they transfer to people sitting under their ministrations.

We attend religious meetings, conferences yearly but still poor. We have read books: My money cometh plus 7 principles and keys to financial prosperity but still poor. All of these are good except it brings spiritual awakening and repentance in our heart. Our society is full of highest religious people and church attendance in the name of God but we are most corrupt people on earth. Only if these religious yearly stuffs make any difference, we are still in a mess. Obedience and faithful stewardship to God is the only kingdom key to prosperity. We can't take one and leave the other. More importantly, it's a lifestyle and not a phase. Stop running from pillar to pole looking for 7 keys that is not lost.

if you have been going to church, being faithful to GOD'S commandment and still u are poor then know that you have not applaid the law of success. One of them is 2 love the Lord your GOD.
