Sade was raised by her British cultural side(her mother is white British) & lived in England since she was four and doesn't know too much about her Yoruba side, mixed kids know more of their mothers culture then fathers, that is just the way it is(especially if they are in the mothers country of origin or land when raised as a kid). I think we should be grateful though, that at least Sade tells people she is half Nigerian without being ashamed about it, I mean she used her Yoruba middle name instead of her English first name(Helen) to identify herself: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sade_Adu#Biography . So she is not like Taio cruz that avoids any association with Nigeria. Overall though this shouldn't be a surprise

When it comes to Seal well he is half Yoruba & half brazilian and was raised by the foster care system in England not by his parents, so he doesn't know much about his Nigeria culture either(just like Sade); the only difference as you said is he at least tried to find a way to connect to his Nigerian side by giving his kids Yoruba names but that's where it ends with him.
