Hi,  Im tinkn of getting a symbian phone but b4 den wuld lyk 2knw bout its adv & disadv, and why it isnt common

why not go 4 a BB instead? i recommend a bold2 or bold4.it's prices are almost @ par with it's nokia equiv and will serve you better, business wise, with less cost.if you're abroad, just get an android phone.

They are pros and cons to every phone even the cräp BlackBerrry

Blackberry have higher disadvantages that symbian. Symbian is far better than bb except you want it for internet usage. Bb is best when it comes to internet. But for app, go for android. For battery, go for symbian.

There are some symbian phone far better than B.B, talk about 5800 and many others.
The problem with symbians is that when application is getting 2much on it,its hangs and sometimes switch off itself but it definately ON back automatically, that is called RE-BUTING.
And the main reason y symbian isnt used that much over here in 9jeria is because,people find it difficult to use, every symbian phone has different application specification unlike Java phones. And because of its various buttons and usage from the popular JAVA,people dont tend to use it.
I say this with full confidence and knowledge. B3 longetivity,themes,display,camara,swiftness and easy to use keys- symbian has got it

Nokia has produced phones even better than 5800 (old school) and don't crash like they used to. The latest symbian belle phones rock, they're very rugged, stylish and have very long battery life.

. . . an E72 would do just fine for you as a lady. I've used it, lost it, got it again and am ready to get anytime again. If you need more info on it just google it up. Though its not that flashy but serves way more than it looks.

Symbhan phones can't download powerful applicatns like JAVA. Also, some symbian phones can't navigate\Scroll when used for browsing.

If you are to get a symbian device, i highly recommend the symbian anna and belle devices.

S60v3 is borderline boring and difficult to customise

S60v5 is a diluted form of anna.
Would also recommend a touch screen phone too.

Yeah, These new symbian anna and belle are powerful GHz fones, They will serve u very well

If u cud afford nokia n900, its a very gd machine, its default OS is maemo 5, the mobile linux,
Works perfectly well, u can dual boot wt android,
