Please I need a good advice,, for a friend of my, She is like a sister to me,, we worship in the same church, she is my prayer partner, she always trust my advice in all issues, but right now she need a good advice for me, but I really don’t know what to tell her. Please help me with ur opinion, My friend will be 40years in October 2012, not married, we have been praying for this for some time now. But last year she meet a man that is 42years, the man has two kids, a girl and a boy of 8 and 5, the man say that his formal wife left him, and the truth is that she remarried which we have confirmed, the man is having financial problem right now because he is living in his younger sisters house with his kids while working very hard to see that he stand on his feet again. But my friend is worry if she is to go ahead with him as the man is asking her to marry him. But a pastor friend say that the man is not her husband, The question that I really will like to ask is this will she continue to wait at 39 to 40 when all her mate is married with 4 and 5 kids at hand… my friend is on my neck to speak while I don’t even know what to really advice on this…. Pls help me. |

^Her GF is 40 and single.A financially unstable single father of 2 wants to marry her.Their church pastor says him(or God) does not believe the man is the lady's Godsent husband hence she should not marry the man. @Topic,what does your friend want,she 'desires' to marry or is comfortable with her single life? Is your friend working,considerably comfortable? You said the man is 'working hard to rise again',what precisely is he doing?self employed,biz or hes an employee somewhere? Aside finances,is the man OK for your friend?they relate and bond well? How is the relationship btw your friend and the man's kids? Have your friend prayed alone,seeked for Gods face and answer? |

Mr, Cork:Comedian. What has that got to do with OP's plight? @topic: If your sister agrees to marry this man, where would they live? #justcurious Why do you think she is uncertain in this? Could it be she isnt really in love, or she cant endure the hardship or plain desperate? |

Does he have a job? Is he taking care of his kids at present or hiding under the excuse of he is broke? How would he take care of the wife once they are married? Would they both be living at his sister's house or what is his plan for accommodation for them? If the man could answer this questions satisfactorily, then she could go ahead. |

Your friend is 42 and is listening to a pastor friend. I wonder is listening to pastors is not part of the reason why she is 40 and not married |

Why is a financially unstable father of 2 looking to get married in the first place? Who will take care of all 3 of them? Or is the man hoping your friend is going to become the family bread winner? Both you are prayer partners so you aren't strangers to God. She needs to seek God's face PERSONALLY in fasting and praying. God is not an author of confusion. He will answer her and manifest Himself to confirm or dis-confirm the pastor's words if she asks with an open heart. |

Fhemmmy, I really appreciate ur opinion on this…. And to ur questions Question no (1) Yes he has a JOB,,, he is working as a marketer with an Estate Surveyor and his salary is based on commission. Question no (2) Yes he is taking good care of his kids Question no (4) He is planning to get an accommodation More opinion pls, |
