They are altogether deceived, both court and the FGN!!! Is it not ironic that this govt who have no regard for the rule of law expects others to obey that same rule of law? Selective Integrity/Justice speaks here, If I do it,it is right, if others do it,IT IS WRONG!!!

We are unstoppable, No shaking!!! Nigeria, your freedom is here! Your conquerors are conquered! Your plunderers are plundered! Haaaaaa, Nigeria, there is fear in the camp of your enemy!!! Rejoice beloved nation!!!!!!!!

It was always clear that their action was illegal. Trade unions are barred by the law from engaging in political protests.

unless NLC and TUC says otherwise or government reverses the pump price of petrol back to N65 nobody is going to work on Monday; either you stay in your house or you go on to the streets.

This is a lie, no court can tell Labour that they cannot strike. That judgement is illegal. Labour Unions can strike whenever they want to. They are an independent body and act as check and balances against irresponsible or unfair government actions.Especially when all attempts at negotiation have proved abortive. Why did they not give the same ruling on ASUU? Labour go on soun, nothing do you. An illegal judgment is null and void. Anyone know any of these judges? so that we can judge their bank account balance from yesterday and today? Make dem go UK go tell Labour that kind mumu talk na.

Labor should be fighting for better wages, improved working conditions and a fair reward system that bridges the gap between the political class and the common man.

For once, Am not in the same page with beaf. It not wrong to embark on industrial action for what affects the Nigerian worker. But it is good judgement to respect court order or challenge her decision at higher court.

That said, Jonathan didnt earn the people's confidence before withdrawing the subsidy. Jonathan is a very good man in his heart. I doubt if he is a leader anyway.

Other people we have had are leaders but bad leaders. We still lack a leader that is good. We need good leader!

If you put your protest hopes on NLC / TUC, you are on a long thing! I bet you even the labor leaders have better knowledge and they covertly support the move. They just have to make some noise in order to save face and keep public confidence.
Re: NLC Cannot Embark On Strike-national Industrial Court by victorian(f): 7:04pm On Jan 06, 2012
Unfortunately there will be no Strike on Monday. Because the Judge will say its illegal for NLC and the whole nation to just go on strike , when the issue of fuel subsidy has not been debated and solutions offered. So negotiations and then way forward has to be stated and if by then no decision is accepted by both parties, then NLC can go to strike, but not before then,  SO NO STRIKE, MY FELLOW NIGERIANS !
Re: NLC Cannot Embark On Strike-national Industrial Court by slap1(m): 7:04pm On Jan 06, 2012
The judge that passed the judgement is sick. I won't be suprized if he has not been paid his November salary. Gutless sycophants! Come and stop the protest and watch the living kick your old, useless, dying bones into the gutter! Chei! I miss Gani Fawehinmi!

Really?  What about stealing public funds and failure to tackle corruption.  I guess that legal.

FACTS ABOUT NIGERIA 2012
1. GEJ deceived you. GOODLUCK was for him, not the COUNTRY.
2. You voted PDP not GEJ.
3. GEJ's a crook, always has been. Ask Bayelsans.
4. Throughout all this, Beaf/Reno is yet to update his facebook status. He doesn't care about the people, is not willing to hear from them. If you're still deceived he's got the interest of Nigerians at heart, ponder on these thoughts a while.
5. The protest will die down when hunger sets in. I'm sad to say this, but it's the truth. The only way to win would be to shut down the nation's supplies: major roads, airports, ports, government buildings. IF WE DO THAT, IT WILL TURN VIOLENT. Are Nigerians ready to go violent?
6. If you think twitter is a good gauge of what's on ground, remember Nairaland pre-election. Buhari won on NL, and we know how the story ends.
7. Whatever way you look at it, the seeds have been sown. Now we need no fuel or preaching or Bakare messages to tell people the right thing to do next elections. The only problem is it's 3 years away and Nigerians have a short memory (I'd vote GEJ not PDP).
8. Total cost of feeding at Presidential villa since Protests started: 15 million naira.
9. Beaf, may your real identity never be known. Keep being the coward you are.

Make up your mind about what you are protesting and stop yarning out of point.
If you are protesting corruption, then lets all hit the street; if you are protesting the subsidy removal, then that is dumb.
