2. In the natural scheme of things, if the refineries were working as they should, PMS should indeed be cheaper in Nigeria than it's neighboring countries. Now if that were the case, in the event that it was naturally cheaper without any subsidy or importation, would the govt not STILL have to address smuggling? ? ?

3. What about smuggling of other products, aside from petrol? Will the government not still have to address such?

This thing is simple. cut government spending, put back fuel subsidy till nigeria is in a better state to absorb this cost, build refineries,tackle smuggling with the cabals. You don't put the cart before the horse. Personally i feel like slapping Maduaeke and Ngozi and Sanusi. If removal of subsidy is right. There are better implementation and time for everything.
