The Save Nigeria Group, the prominent activist group spearheading the Lagos protests against the cut in fuel subsidy, has concluded plans to sue the federal government over the disbursement of subsidy funds.

The group says they will ask the court to investigate how the Federal Government ended up spending N1.6trillion as against the N240b budgeted for subsidy in the 2011 fiscal year.

The convener of the group, Tunde Bakare,while speaking at a press conference in Lagos to address the fallout of the recently suspended nation-wide strike condemned the truncation of the industrial action.
