A great man and inspiration to his people. I do not agree with all of his actions but I always view most of his decisions on the premise that he was a soldier and a politician. He was divisive at times and some of his rhetoric was inflammatory, but you would have to realize that his concern was the Igbo people and as such he used whatever methods he felt was necessary to achieve his aims of "uplifting" Ndigbo.

Depending on which part of the fence you were standing he was either a villian or a hero. I view him as both; my stance is in the middle depending on the issues being discussed.

Hate him or love him, this is a legend that will (hopefully) never be forgotten 10,000 years from now.

Rest in peace Dim.
