The admission office of the university of abuja today releases guideline for admission for the 2007/2008 acedemic section, check it out.

1.The first admission list will be base on merit, that is 2 or 1 best candidate from each state in each department, e.g In economics dept 2 best candidate from those that applied from each state 2 that particular dept.

2.Special consideration will be given to those candidate  from the catchment area, i.e Kogi state, nassawara, Niger state, and FCT Abuja.

3.Less educational developed state.

Note that this guidelines will be strictly adhere 2 by the admission office.

I HOPE YOU GOT YOUR FACT RIGHT? I KNOW THAT THERE ARE THREE UNIS IN NIGERIA IN WHICH THEIER CATCHMENT AREA IS THE WHOLE COUNTRY.YHESE UNIS ARE :ABUJA, PORTHARCOURT AND IBADAN. THESE UNIS ADMIT STUDENTS SOLELY BASED ON MERIT(AND OFCOURSE, WHO YOU SABI) AND NOT BY CATCHMENT AREA.OR HAVE THEY CHANGED THE MODE(SHEY NA NIJA WE DEY)
