This is so sad, I hate reporting deaths but when a very regular visitor to this blog (he knows himself) called to ask me why I didn’t post anything on the death of Super Falcons midfielder Felicia Eze, I thought okay…might just do a sketchy piece can't stand the herculean task of writing about death.

Felicia Eze is dead. She died in Anambra State after a brief illness on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the young age of 38. She was a member of the Super Falcons squad that won gold medal at the 2003 All Africans Games, held in Abuja, Nigeria. Amongst her many successes are the 2004 African Women’s Championship in South Africa which the Super Falcons won.
