Is having a joint account with one spouse advisable or seperate account? I said i prefer a seperate account,

but she said she prefers joint account, and she a big spender. Which would you prefer?

And also, isn't she suppose to pay when she asked you out? Why is that black girls still expect the guy to pay

when they asked him out.

i really support the issue of separate accounts, the fact you guys are married doesn't mean you can't have a little space of privacy.

And the issue of black girls not picking the bills, is absolutely wrong, yea i know most black girls like the guy to pay, but there are still some who like to pay the bills themselves.

But i don't think this goes down well with most black guys even though she was the one who asked the guy out, i think most of the guys would see it as an insult to their ego. undecided

I prefer joint accounts, and I share one with my fiancee.

Do you honestly expect a girl to pay for a meal, even if she asked you out?  sad

And it's nothing to do with black girls, it's generally accepted that the man pays, when a couple go out for a meal.

First you ask her out meaning you have enough cash to spend on her and please don't expect any lady to pay bills *wether black or white* woman na woman  grin

Seriously, especially in American, most women are making as much as men. If the man is expected to pay for everything,

how fare is that. Men want to feel special too you know.

It's nothing to do with who makes more.

If your finances were joint, it'll be seen more as "you're money", i.e, both your finances pooled together as one.

I've done this for the past 4 years, with no issues at all.
