Hello Nairalanders I will need your advice with regards to a "change of name" issue. I intend to change my surname for some personal reasons,I got married 2 years ago and my wife already changed her name to my present surname,my daughter also have my present surname on her birth certificate. While I dont envisage so much issues with my own name change .I am wondering If i my wife can change her name twice (after just changing her surname less than two years ago because of her marriage to me). What about my daughter,do i need to contact the national population commission to get a new birth certificate or what? Can we also do a joint name change or it has to be done individually? Pls advise |

idk why not go and ask the governing agency the overseas name changes to find out? |

What country do you reside. People change their names when they marry and change it back when they divorce so I am guessing you can |

Yes! It is very possible oh! I know one girl like this that changes her name very night! Today she is Rose and tomorrow you see her again and she has turned to Sharon.  |
