The Lord warns us of the rising of antichrist church leaders…

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many (Matthew24:5).

This scripture does not mean that people will literally claim that they are Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The word Christ means “the anointed one” so the word of God is saying that many carnal men and women will claim that they are anointed men and women of God. The above scripture has been fulfilled, for there are many unregenerated self-acclaimed anointed men and women of God who are building their own kingdoms and empires using the name of Christ. The Antichrist leaders in the structural church include the superstar pastors and bishops who are acting as mediators between their congregation and God; apart from them in their church, no other believer is entitled to hear from God. They have no interest in discipling their church members and releasing them into their God appointed assignments; instead, they cage their members to achieve their own selfish visions; their motive behind having a large congregation is to collect offerings! They gather people around themselves only to raise money with the focal point of their messages always directed towards money or material matters instead of Jesus Christ….

They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them (1 John 4:5).

These ministers of Satan use all sorts of gimmicks to steal from their victims! False ministers operate local churches as a family business; for instance, in their congregations, the husband will act as the senior pastor and their wives will act as second in command, followed by their children. It is not necessary that when a pastor dies the wife or the children take over. God doesn’t require an assembly of believers to be operated like a monarch. False Shepherds feed themselves not the Sheep, Jesus said that a good shepherd laid down his life for the sheep (John10:11). Today, the sheep are laying their lives down for the antichrist shepherds. The leaders are the first to drive fine cars, live in expensive houses and mansions, and own private jets due to the monetary contributions of the saints! The saints return home to endure sleepless nights, thinking of where their next meal will come from or how their bills are going to be paid. Offerings in the church should benefit every member of the Church, especially the poor, not just the pastor….

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God's grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales  and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need  (Acts 4:32-35).

Leaders should be an example, just like Jesus Christ, though he was rich, yet for our sake he became poor, so that we through his poverty might become rich (2Corinthians8:9).Christian leaders should do likewise, because that is the principle of the Kingdom of God. If the present day church leaders (especially the Pentecostal circles) are true Christians who believe that this world will end soon (2Peter3:8-12), they would discontinue accumulating material wealth for themselves. What is sense does it make to hoard wealth upon the earth that will soon be destroyed? Jesus says….

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Mathew6:19-21).

The false leaders exalt themselves which is contrary to the principle of Christ and the apostles; for instance, Jesus Christ was a servant among the 12 apostles, and the apostles were not special among the rest of the believers; they were all brothers in Christ and there were no presidents or founders among them. Apostle Peter was not called “Papa” or “General overseer”; he was just a simple brother in the local assembly. Jesus said…

"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ. The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. (Matthew23:8-12)

Any Christian leader who allows his congregation to exalt him is an antichrist. Jesus said; I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me (John 12:32). This simply means that if a minister of the gospel is presenting Jesus Christ to his congregation, they should look upon Jesus Christ and glorify Christ, not the pastor. The reasons many Christians talk more of their pastors instead of Christ is that the pastor presents himself to the congregation, not Christ. In some churches if the “senior pastor” isn’t preaching during the “Sunday service”, many of the members won’t attend which shows that the foundation of that local assembly is laid upon the pastor not on Jesus Christ. If the foundation of a church is built on Christ, each member will minister and preach Christ and manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Your teachings are pure and as real as the word of God should be real. I thank God for raising people like you for this generation. Keep doing the great job but bear in mind,people might not like you but keep doing the good job anyway. God bless you.

@OP,This post of yours epitomizes sound christian doctrine,any other teaching aside this is an aberration.

I have always believed that men of God so to speak are meant to be servants and not highly exalted as it is today.

More so, there is a need for us all to have a paradigm shift based on the undiluted word of God rather than shifting our attention to the so called pastors or ministers.These are mere mortals like you and I who can fail at any particular point in time but the Almighty God is always unfailing.

This is a wonderful post and deserves all the support but as always the problem l have with posts like this especially when people like crossman sends in comments is one of both negligence and a lack of balance in the truth. True we have been sufficiently informed by scriptures of "The AntiChrist" as a person and persons who have made themselves ANTI-CHRISTS because of their false teachings and deceiptions but the bible sufficiently also informs us how to recognize and identify such. But how come in all my years on this religious section l have never read anyone who has boldly come out to praise and recognize the immense contributions of any Man of God recommending such a preacher/teacher to the public but no all we get people making a name out of speaking evil of Men of God all in an attempt to ridicule and make a rubbish of the office of the Pastor so when you criticise please also encourage and recognize those who are doing well for Jesus Christ

So nothing is wrong with being anointed. That's not that verse is talking about . You should know the difference between "an anointed " and "the anointed" "a Christ" and "the Christ" . Well I'm not aware pastors accumulate wealth for themselves and I say this boldly because I know some pastors. They accumulate wealth rightly simply for the work of the ministry, for helping the less priviledge and also the members of their church. A pastor's life is a life of giving, no day goes by without someone seeking for financial assistance in church or even outside the church and most times the pastor attends to them!

The aim of this group is to serve as a forum to show our discontentment towards the blasphemious and antichristian redbull advert doing the rounds on the airwaves. This Advert depicts Christ in a blasphemious and derogatory manner. It is a mockery of the faith of over 60% of the world's population. Not to mention the EMEA region where I presume this advert is been propagated. They must stop this advert and issue an unreserved appology. Until then this group remains to checkmate their excesses.
