Is this distruption by MASSOB needed? Are they not undermining their own course?

Census: MASSOB, Police in bloody clash

# 10 feared dead
# Enumerators attack NPC chief
# Lapses in Lagos, others

LAGOS-ABOUT 10 people were reported dead in a fracas that broke out on the first day of the national headcount at Nnewi, Anambra State yesterday, with reports from other states indicating that crisis and confusion trailing the exercise.

In Kaduna State, for instance, the National Population Commission (NPC) Commissioner in charge of Kaduna State, Dr. Ufot Asibong-Ibe, narrowly escaped being lynched when irate enumerators attacked his convoy over non-payment of the N5,200 allowance due to them after their 13 days of training.

Even here in Port Harcourt, they put the hungry, weather beaten, illiterate enumerators to flight claiming that they are from BIAFRA; whatever that means. I have never seen so much confusion before. Do these politicians think we are zombies? today they say go to work, tomorrow they say stay at home. Many businesses are counting their losses and they say we will gain in the end. What gain can come to a man who died of hunger in the midst of plenty.

because massob are dumb bastards, its fact that violence never leads to peaceful resolution they even poured acid on their fellow people because they were officials. just shows that not only the nigerian government is stupid in that country. am born in ph raised in lagos. and yeah of biafra roots. but damn its the past.

Like it or not Biafran will some day come to reality! what you all call violence or confussion is nothing to compare with what is on grown or on the way if the so call Nigerian Govt. Fail to realise that the country is not in Unity anymore and will never be.Due to so many lapses on grown from the Political elite to the socialist.

I mean the Eastheners and the South South people have come to realize that the Country is not doing any thing good for there favor and now we have stand up to call the International community to come to our rescue.Thats what is happening

Many has been said about BIAFRA but nothing has been don same with the oil state.NIGERIA as a nation is a fail state at the moment citizen crying every corner of the road for lack. well i leave to you all to think about it.

What are we counting? Is this the first time? What have they always done after the count?
We Niger Deltans are not in support of the policy marking of this weaked Nation call Nigeria we Need Bifra.

I Suppoert them

You think Nigeria is a failed state? Go and live in places like Iraq, Somalia and then come back here and say that. LOL @ Biafra. Continue spouting noise about Biafra. Your fellow Nigerians (including easterners) are moving foward while you're living in the past killing yourself slowly with anger.

"I LOVE BIAFRA "  come rain come shine !! smiley smiley smiley smiley  people want to be on their own every where in the world, Catalonia in Spain, Corsica in France, Basque country in Spain, and many more places. What i don't understand is why some Nigerians are afraid to let Biafrans go when you all know they will die of hunger alone grin grin i heard that in this forum some time, Biafrans are no beggars, i don't know much about massob but the big THING about Biafra is on the way coming
Re: Why Is MASSOB Disrupting The Census? by toshmann(m): 1:13am On Mar 30, 2006
massob may be a wrong approach, but the biafran spirit is in the heart of most ibos and "no amount of physical force can quench the invincible spirit of a nation"(nelson mandela,1963?). doctors dont give paracetamol when patients come with fever and headache. they try to find out what is causing the headache/fever, e.g malaria, and treat the malaria. if they stop the fever/headache with paracetamol, it will come again b/c the underlying malaria is still there.

so the federal govt should not just fight massob. they should fight the factors beneath the movt.i.e the serial injustice and imbalance in the federation against the ibos since 1966. when this is done,i tell u the ibos will now feel accepted in the nation and will feel like nigerians. for now they feel like captives.

we'll talk more on these later

As bad as  Iraq today yet it's still far better than this cursed country called Nigeria where God's given blessing has turned to be evil against the masses. so nigeria has been a failed state right from the very day northern and southern parts of nigerian were fraudulently amalgamated. I would like you to tell me what a failed state looks like, a nation that has never had electricity light in the whole part of the country for a second before, a nation where its citizens live in squalor, a nation that's ranked the 6th oil producing nation yet over 80% of its citizens can't read and write, a nation that's ranked 1st in producing half baked graduates, a nation where a minister nominee (LEADER) cannot recite its national anthem. the list's endless.
Can anyone tell me what a failed state looks like?
Re: Why Is MASSOB Disrupting The Census? by demmy(m): 2:50pm On Mar 30, 2006
Nigeria is not a failed state. Leaders fail not the nation.
