The 2012 African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) nominations took place on March 17 at the Kairaba Hotel in Banjul, Gambia. Kunle Afolayan coincidentally was premiering his latest work “Phone Swap” at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos on that day. Present at the nominations event were celebrities,and top government officials.
