Is that the full name or just part of the name? maybe you should find out the full name but i have something close.

Irene - I have finally come/A child born in sorrow.

Irinmwian - Pleading-One who pleads.

Irinmwiagbon - One who plead with the world.

You should be aware that bini names are always long but most of us shorten the names so as to be easy for non-bini to pronounce.

It was a silly/dumb post though.

The thread is "Bini names and meaning" and you posted a fictional "mixed" name.

And don't derail this thread into ethnic mudslinging. People will read what you wrote and sling back.
Re: Proudly Bini Names And Meaning by ifyalways(f): 8:59pm On Mar 29, 2012
Honeric, thank you. Its such a "sad name" and quite unfortunately the bearer who is late now seems to have lived her life 'pleading with the world to live her alone' . . .
Thank you.

Is idele a bini name?

@ifyalways It is the Edo/Bini way of calling the Yoruba name 'Dele'. Not a Bini name but answered by them.

^thank you. I have a benin friend, female but married to a yoruba that bears the name. I have always wondered the roots and to make it even more confusing, she abbreviates it to dele.twas recently she told me the real name is idele.

Thank you.

Aji,am not a trouble maker but you read what that oba wrote about the Igbos! It was very degrading and callous! Mind you I dont have issue with the Bini people but the man who sits on their throne is very ignorant having in mind the kind of education he has acquired. If Eze-Nri say such about other groups I will personally write his palace and advice him to withdraw the comments and apologise too! But PHYSICS didnt do that! Bunch of hypocrites! Am out of this dump!

I know it has been a long time but I follow trends on Nairaland when I can. Some topics are just not worth replying to as you sometimes give people an opportunity to insult your people. I am a very proud Edo. Though I have not seen Nigeria in over a decade your topics and those of some other reasonable people keeps me abreast of goings-on there.
@ topic.Omoma-A child is good.(Though I know some Nairalanders who are not befitting of that name or its equivalent in their language because of their utterances. You wonder how they see their parents)

I understand your anger. Sanusi made a topic saying "Yorubas are the problem of Nigeria" Does that mean yorubas should hate Sanusi ? No

My brother it is not everything you read you take to heart. There are somethings you just have to brush away as irrelevant. I remember some of the topic I;myself have started, if you take what I wrote to heart you would really really have a hard time discussing with me. You just have to brush off some things wink
