Why Do Nigerians Get Deported While Illegal Aliens Stay In Nigeria? by hortongate(m): 11:46am On Nov 02, 2007
Hi people, i've just gone through today's Guardian and i'm reading about Nigerians being deported from LIBYA! of all the places in the world to be deported from. The report goes on to say that in 2006, some 155 Nigerians were deported from NIGER!, GHANA!! and Sierra Leone!!! For heaven's sake, what are these guys looking for? No wonder these conutries don't respect us because they know they should be looking up to us.

Now, this is my question: Why does the immigration service not deport illegal aliens in Nigeria? Why are we acting big brother, accomodating everyone?
Someone, please tell me so i don't have malaria

Poorly trained and motivated immigration officers, porous borders, non-existent records and statistics, zero proactive foreign affairs policy (only reactive), are just a few of the factors that are responsible for the complacency witnessed in the handling of all the illegal aliens that daily walk our streets as first class citizens.

Maybe the illegal aliens have given our immigration officials N20. Or perhaps we cant even find the border especially those in the north.

When we cannot keep a floating, dead, smelling whale from hitting our shores?  It is illegal humans that we can keep out of Nigeria?

I thought there was some ECOWAS stuff allowing free movement and settlement among African countries so no need for visas?

Well, I think the illegal aliens are more productive that the legal ones (Yahoo Nigerians) and should be allowed to stay on since most Nigerians that have any common sense have long left Nigeria--leaving the dregs of society behind.

People have to fill that void from the mass exodus of "professional" Nigerians and I really do not care where they come from.  Nigeria needs to be sanitized with people from Togo, Seme or wherever.
