First bank is actually one of the highest paying in the industry at the moment followed by GT,Fidelity,Zenith and Diamond.

If anyone is aware of actual figures you can chip in. A friend actually confirmed for 1st bank and for the others,a single glance at their staff's shows how well they've been taken care of!

First is the best Bank In Naija...Even abroad people have issues with banks!!! That you had a bad experience does not make the bank bad....

olodo, you must be one of the dumbo that works for the said bank. What's wrong in demanding for t & c. I work in a bank(not in naija) so I know the system very well.

I think you are the original Olodo. The documents stating the terms and conditions of a Nigerian bank account comes with the account opening package...isnt it strange for a sane man to sign a contract before reading the T & C? Well, ofcourse you dont work in Naija. You work in Niger. Mscheeew.

First bank has its strength in safety of deposits. If you are looking for excellent customer service, you may have to look elsewhere. First bank appears to be comfortable with their low cost of funds achieved through a huge untraceable fund left over by entities over the decades of operation. No pressure for new customers.

Olodo rabata, quack cso indeed, u must be a cretin. So you think a customer would just pay you a visit then open an account with your bank without some prior knowledge of what he wants. I only opened the account cos it was one of the few savings account in Nigeria that accepts cheque payment through clearing. Really sanusi needs to do a lot of work, you lot must think the customers are stupid.

This oga doesn't even know what is meant by a welcome pack. LOL. I am sure he's a customer service manager in a naija bank. Let me educate you just as I educated the lad at the Fidelity bank, when you open a bank account, even if It's the most basic the bank offers, you are sent the welcome pack which includes, a thank you letter, how to use the account, what to expect from the account, small prints/t&c of the account. This is sent after necessary risk and kyc checks must have been carried out. It could take a week or two to come by post in Advanced countries, you might need to obtain the pack in a Nigeria branch.
We are talking about customer service, u claim to work in a bank but you suck at talking to people politely.

Case closed.

Like I mentioned in my previous post. I have read the t & c online and I deffo know what I needed the account for. All I wanted was the t & c booklet for keeps that I wasn't given when I opened the account. Is that too hard for you to understand tongue

There was another crowd at the customer help desk and 2 people were attending to them, lo and behold another crowd at the pay in side, only 1 person attending so i turned to go around and head to the UBA branch next door, alas my friend who i hear is now the most senior in that branch.
