Hey guys, i received a mail to come and write KPMG aptitude test, i don't remember applying for a job at KPMG, i'm a 2012 batch A corp member, just left camp. Although some consultancy firms came to talk to us in camp about jobs and recruitments, i made sure i submitted my email to all of them as they promised to send us job alerts. So i need to know if there's actually going to be a KPMG aptitude test on April 14, in lagos. And since i didn't directly apply but got an email, if i travel to lagos, will i be allowed to write the exam? (i'm in kaduna and don't want to watse transport money). Also, is it to early to start applying for jobs since i just started my NYSC??

So guys, should i go for this exam??

KPMG is an accounting,audit and consulting firm.It's part of the global Big 4 consulting firms.The test held some weeks back at the venue in the invite you got. They had a system glitch,that's why invites were sent again.
Go give it a try,it's never too early to start job hunt.

I work with KPMG, yes there is a test scheduled to be held at UNILAG as stated in your mail. Good luck.

I got this same message too. my question is 'will kpmg allow people that don't have discharge certificate and yet to complete NYSC to write this aptitude test?'

One thing you guys should note before you write, YOU GET ONLY ONE CHANCE TO PASS. Once you write it, you cannot write it again except in special circumstances. @Easydone, can you confirm?

One thing i really want to know is about the sender, the email was not from KPMG but NG-FM Careers, so i really need to be sure that i'm NG-FM Careers sent it on behalf of KPMG. Still waiting for help.

Yeap...its real. Got d mail as well bt wnt b writing cos i jst finished last Nov nd am yet 2collect evidence of result. The same reason i cldnt write it d last time Try to come prepared though. GMAT based. Jst make sure u dnt 4get ur credentials.
* O'level result (minimum of 5crdts in one sitting, including maths nd english. Combining 2results is nt allowed)
* Evidence of ur university result (minimum of 2.1)
* Birth certificate (must b below 26yrs)
* ur CV
* NYSC discharge certificate (if completed)

KPMG is one great place to begin your career and I strongly encourage you to prepare very well for the test. as it is a once written, never re-done kind of test. Do all you can to prepare and come take test on that day as it is no scam at all.

For the question on NYSC discharge certificate, did you see the condition in your invitation? They know you have not completed your service. They deal with intelligent young chaps so go do your thing.

You wil b allowed to write d test, go along wit ur NYSC ID Card. Most times there recruitment selection process takes as much as 6 mnths b4 its completed(i.e wen they wil finally pick d ones they find gud enuf to work wit). If u ar successful in d exam u wil as wel b allowed to attend Interviews as a corper. Gud Luck to Nlanders writin d Exam.

Well,you should have said consulting as audit or accounting is concerned.The ones I mentioned are the biggest when it comes to MANAGEMENT consulting.I was just saying be specific.

i just got the text from KPMG, thanks guys! i've already started reading the GMAT i bought in camp, my first aptitude test, #fingers crossed.

Pls wat type of questions should we expect? Cos that GMAT has different types of questions, Maths, verbal, mechanical and stuff. Also will there be current affairs

Maths...word problems, ratios, percentages, discount etc english...synonyms, antonyms, comprehension, critical reasoning, etc.. U will c ur result immediately and if you pass u will write an essay on topics like 'where you see yourself in the next five yrs', leadership etc. Just study well. U will be alllowed to write even if you r still serving, just go with the documents required...all the best!

Just be composed and you sure would excel. The test isn't difficult as it only seem to test your reasoning.
KPMG test is one of the test I loved most of all the aptitude test I wrote.

hey sure deres a test on d 14t of april and it could apply to u. wot actually happened was dat kpmg had a test dat was taken on d 24t of march and due 2 some issues it was cancelled and rescheduled 4 d 14t of dis month. ill advice dat if u got d mail den show up and u dnt need dischagre cert 4 it. it was stated dat if ur a corper and u pass dey will wait 4 u till u finish. so u can take ur cance
