Do you ever watch an advertisement on tv or see one in the papers, and the only thing that crosses your mind is , 'what the hell is going on in this ad'? Well, thought we should talk about such.

One of the ads that come to mind for me is Chris Aire's wristwatch, a lady, getting in a car and driving of and some background dude with a baritone saying 'the only thing that's a guarantee in life is, we are born, and we'll die, what we do in between is up to us' I'm like wtf! What's the point? You only realise it's for a wrist watch when it's over.

I actually think the same. Like those ECOBANK ads on the 2nd/3rd page of the PUNCH newspapers. Or that MTN Blackberry advert. Or those HEINEKEN ads that are displayed on Champions' League match days.
Whenever I see them, I just feel disgusted, kinda.

OMG! do u know dat chris aires ad is d worst I have eva seen, cuz you first tink its a perfume advert, then u begin to tink its an auto advert, u now begin to doubt both n u can't figure out which then also d music jst doesn't pan out,and then its chris aire, wat a Drag! Ads with abstract deliveries are quite effective. In this particular one, the correlation between what you do with the 'time' from life to death
and the product being a time piece - in my opinion is brilliant.

Chris Aires ad is very dynamic and splendid. The message is simply about "TIME" being the essence of our journey in life. "The only thing that is guaranteed in life is that we are born and we will die" and what happens in-between is a function of TIME.

All airtel ads are sickening to watch and one dat makes u puke is "he tell me say he go carry me go abroad.. .he nor tell me say I go swallow something. .he nor tell me say I go go jail. .he no tell me say I go old before .." Dat ad is SICK! SICK is it!! Whoever had dat idea for an advert shld be shot

yeah! I think Over 90 percent of Empty-N ads are not just dry but dumb. I just don't know how Airtel and Etisalat make their's: always da bomb.

Adverts are meant to cause you to remember a certain prooduct one way or another.
People have listed so many ads here and that means: job well done!

That ad was obviously rushed and for what? I don't know. Very poorly executed though one has to admit that the theme isn't bad.
