I DONT KNOW WHY PEOPLE ALLOW THEIR PARENTS CHOSE THE PERSON THEY SHOULD GET MARRIED TOO, LIKE THE TRIBE THE PERSON SHOULD BE FROM AND EVEN THE COMPLEXION OF THE PERSON. EVEN THE HEIGHT AND AGE OF THE PERSON. WHY SHOULD ANYONE ALLOW THAT. PLS TELL ME WHY PEOPLE?  |

It's not all parents -- it's mainly uneducated or unelightened parents. I don't mean uneducated by not going to school -- but being very conservative. For example, my parents have given me free reign in my family. I can decide to switch religions if I want to -- they're only concerned I believe in God. They don't care if my brothers follow a girl from a different tribe -- they're only interested in the character. |

People that allow their parents to choose their spouse are under parental control. lol I know some prents still do it, but the world is changing u know. |

It is not a common thing these days. Parents only try to cajole their children to marry same tribe, but aint heard of parents choosing complexion, age, etc. of their children's spouse |
