I can feel it, i can smell it. . .
Whoa! Beautiful weather, perfect music, it's JULY 15, 'm loving the feeling!
Fresh from the shower in my blue rose- patterned towel, i happily waltzed into the bedroom and straight to the dressing table. I took my time to cleanse my face, choose my lingerie, comb every strand of my pretty hair, and apply lotion on every inch of my body. Done, I walked towards the full length mirror to see the outcome of my handiwork.
I smiled. Perfect, i thought!
I glanced at my watch. It was just past 12.
Damn! 5 hours? What was i thinking?!
My stomach lurched at how much longer i had to wait until his call.
Absent- mindedly, i walked into the kitchen to do something, anything. In 1 hour, i had washed the dishes, swept the whole house, laid the bed like a dozen times and already, i was out of work to do. Unable to sit over and just watch the clock tick by, i helped myself to a nice nap on the cozy bed. Am i excited or anxious? I don't know and i don't care! Whichever one it is, it's july 15 and my baby's coming home tonight! That's it.

Some years back,

I was hungry and thirsty. The April sun was as harsh as hay on my skin. I quickly checked my to- do list.
Dresses at 3! Junior at 4! And finally home it'd be. Too weary to think, i walked into the nearest eatery to find sth to eat. Being somewhat the choosy type, it took me 5 mins to settle for a plate of salad and ice cream. In 10 minutes, i was done eating and i still had some mins to spare b4 three. Bored out of my mind, i stared round the eatery in an un- interested manner; cake, sausage roll, meat pie, chicken, rice- those were tempting!
People talking! People eating! People eating and talking! People holding hands over plates of rice and salad! Normal people! Ordinary people! There was noone or nothing spectacular. . . No, there was! That man on the 3rd row in the fourth column, staring at the tv while holding a glass of orange drink to his lips. He had strong arms and he seemed awfully huge in the chair he was sitting. I figured if i had been sitting right in front of him, i wouldn't have measured up to half his sitting posture. I wasn't 'that small' but he seemed 'that big!' undoubtedly hooked on this dude, i took my time to study him. I loved to study people, beautiful people, to be precise. He sat straight on his back with his legs carefully placed in front of him. He seemed confident, strong, collected, quite reserved, humorous and somewhat fierce! He looked like a fighter! I loved fighters! Immediately, i imagined- if i had a row with some rude dude, this kinda man would easily come rescue me even b4 i got hit. All my life, i've seeked for a man who can fight for or over me when the need arose. And all through the time i been searching, this is the only time i ever got this close to one of his kind. I was awed and head over heels in crush with this dude.
Sadly, My phone buzzed and snapped me out of my reverie. Damn! It was three already!
