My friend introduced me to a guy about a month ago and we've been chatting via bbm and phone calls. He says he really likes me and such and such....but i don't that carried away easily.
So on Monday i call him at night and i asked him why he hasn't checked on me all day long and he said he had been angry with some people. So we continue talking and he cheers up.
After about 20mins of talking, we started having network issues and at a point he calls,but ends the call when i pick up. I try to call back and he cuts my call, and he ended up not calling back. At 11pm i receive a msg from him that he would call me soon. I slept off and when i woke up i noticed he hadn't called.
All day long i didn't call or msg and neither did he. Then at about 9pm i noticed he was no longer my contact on bbm. That when i called the friend that introduced us and she said he was no longer her contact too. I got worried at this point and decided to call.
I didn't have call units so I took someone's phone and called. I called both of his numbers severally and they both rang without being picked up. So i said a prayer for him and went to bed.
This morning I woke up said a prayer for him again then headed straight out to buy call units. Again i called both numbers to no avail. Around 12noon he finally calls and he's like, who's this? But anyway, realizes its me after 10secs and says he got robbed and i'm like when? And he says he'll send me a message. About an hour later he sends a msg that he got robbed yesterday afternoon.They took some things from his car and his bb. So he went to the police station to lay a complaint and as of now they;ve found hiss bb, while the robber was trying to sell it and he'll get it back by 4pm.
He stays in PH. Is it that the PH police dept are so efficient? Another thing is that when he finally sent the msg,he sent it to my other line, meaning he hadn't lost my number through the whole "robbery incident".
Please, what do y'all think about all this?
My friends say i'm a cynic....do you believe his tale?

so on day 1, he hung up on u, promised to call nd never did til day 3 wen u finally got tru to him nd though he claimed to ve lost his phone, thereby losin ur contacts, he sent a msg to d 2nd no which he got by divine intervention??
der is a possibility he lost d phone sha but i dont buy it. So y not man up nd ask him d qus dt is botherin u- ow he got d no dt has bin supposedly wiped from his phone- its too early 4 u to be havin headaches biko..

Ok not that I'm a detective or anything but here's how I see it:
1.If he has slept with you he MIGHT be trying to lose you.
2.If he hasn't slept with you I find it extremely hard to understand why he would concoct such a horrid scenario. Though I find the efficiency of the NPF astonishing to say the least. However, that's their job and should have a good day or two.
3.His knowledge of your other number might mean that he has that number in his memory and he chose to work with that.
4.He might have still been flustered from the incident and is recovering hence, why he didn't reach out to you.
5.Still, be on your guard. Check for discrepancies and inconsistencies in your communication with him. Serial, compulsive liars are very very dangerous people as their lies only belie a darker, more sinister persona.
6.I wouldn't say that you're cynical but it pays to be sharp-minded and trusting of one's intuition. Let your curiosity lead you to find what really is and make your decisions based on that.

The network of complaints is quite confusing. Anyway, stop expecting him to live out the remainder of his life on the phone with you. Give the man a break. Whether his phone was stolen or not, it is obvious that he wants one.
