Anyway, it the struck me.... who really earns more from their website, Linda or Seun.... Even though Nairaland has more traffic, it really doesn't seem to match the revenue power of Linda Ikeji. Still wondering tho....

Very soon, you will begin to compare NairaLand and Microsoft, Seun Osewa and Bill Gates.

Nairaland makes me sick sometimes. The other day someone was asking who the greatest was between Hakeem Olajuwon and Jeremy Lin. Now it's Seun against Linda? Cant you just stop and analyse it? Calculated the traffic and see where the pot of gold is

then it follows that Seun is making more money than her.

Unless for whatever reason her viewers clicked ads more frequently, or her ad rates were somehow higher.

Why all these comparisons? Linda Ikeji is a blog with comments, she doesn't have a hundred thousand archived topics while NL have more than 500,000 archived topics, ranking on top 5 in Google search, like seriously do the math. Had Seun sought other opportunities to push NL, NL would have gone places. Again, why the comparison?

Not when Seun is sharing money accrueing from ads with Google. Linda Ikeji gets direct advertisement from companies but Seun uses a 3rd party(Google). Though i still think Seun makes more money for now but that may change in the future if Seun does not leverage on the advantage Nairaland has over other Nigerian states due to it's traffic.

Actually, you and the OP might be right. I visited her site just now and am seeing local, directly placed advertisements.

Local advertising might pay more money? I don't know what the figures look like exactly.

i go wif linda cuz she has more advert, many from locality,addynamo and baba google
She also have advantage cuz if she get banned, she will still get money from many advertisers!!! While seun depend on only google,....and google don't mind D kinda traffic u have dey easy just ban you, apart from companies i.e vanguard and many others ....
