I have an urgent decision to make and I need help. Which is the best internet modem for home use in Nigeria. My options are Swift, Mobitel, Unwired, Visafone, Starcomms or the ones provided by GSM networks. I understand that some of them might not work well in certain areas. I live around Ojota.

Pls, somebody should tell us. I want to buy but i don't know which one to buy. I need a reliable one with good speed.

I use Starcomms but am not impressed with their service at all...

Etisalat 42mb/sec modem ....its what am using and I sometimes get 3.5mb speed equivalent to 21mbps

Buy an iphone4s, u can use it as a modem on ur laptop and browse on ur phone when u aint using ur laptop, it is the fastest in Nigeria for MTN so far. i get up to 100kb download speed . all those modem speed that they are calling dont work in naija ... try iphone 4s as an MTN modem . u wont regret

Etisalat eazyblaze is the bomb
it works like magic,faster than idiotic starcomms
economical as u can load as low as 1k but my former starcomms was 6,500 for 100 hours.

Cobranet or starcomms. Both are most reliable within Lagos for me

try Cobranet.. for me its the best i have ever owned in lagos

swift is the best swift 4gx..y can use it aniwere in lagos so far there is 3g dere

That's as fast as your iPhone 4s gets you? Lol! Even my MTN ZTE modem, on a bad day, gives me 1Mb minimum! Lol @ "buy an iPhone 4s". Smh.
