A friend of my and me were debating about this issue that the reason why africa nigeria in particular turn up for chruch is a result of the rate of poverty in africa,compare to the europian country.i carryed out a survey and found out that you hardly found any church in europe filled to the brim during on sunday service,and is the other way round here in nigeria.please whats your say on this matter.

what do you think people in African churches pray to every sunday? yep, wealth! the churches got such a strong hold on their miserable minds that many would give their last $$$ on sunday, while going home with an empty stomach. the sad part is that most of them would attribute any good deed in their lives to that church, while quickly saying that the ones who succeeded in life (while not going to any churches) are into money rituals......meanwhile pastor is traveling the world with private jets etc!

I would say that all africans are afflicted with povalty and other problems. Only the few are able to break out. I will tell u, Satan reside in african. U cant compare the standard of living and true development. God intervention is needed urgently in africa, if u ve food and basic amenities u won't remember church. 2) He did not mention recession or bailout. Nice strawman

3) Christianity came with slavery to West Africa. And so he is right to say that christianity is part of the reason for the downfall of Africa

This is a lie that has been told by many christians. They use Sweden to say that atheists are more suicidal. It's like me using Saudi Arabia to say that muslims hate women drivers

Is slavery not an economic as well as racial and political issue? Does it not affect the inferiority complex in Nigeria? Wasnt it economicall viable for Europeans who raped Nigeria?

Causes of poverty in Nigeria

1) Corruption. Corrupt politicians

2) Greed. Government cronies selling generators and making billions instead of fixing electricity problems. Which multinational will invest in a country that can not manufacture anything due to electricity problems?

3) Religion. Boko haram. Tithe thieves. No separation of church and state. Inferiority complex to white Jesus

4) Thinking. The average Nigerian politician would rather buy a Jeep that can drive on mountains than fix the bad roads in Nigeria
