There are tweaks to speed up my device. But with a 1.3 GHz processor, my device is fast enough and thats not top on my mind. I hope you also know that overclocking your cpu will mean a very horrible battery life on a device whose battery life is already shit. I wonder why you also left out the part about heating up and stability.

denny4ril: i ve always been on Nokia and presently using E61. I love d bold keypad and browsing s crazy fast with airtel monthly 100MB package. my friend uses an acer android phone called ACER LIQUID MT, a beautiful phone but my analysis and comparison of d two shows that d nokia E61 is far beta in terms of functionality and durability.
If u wanna make a phone switch especially from Nokia to another Brand, do your home work b4 diving in.

otumfour: take this! and this is coming from an IOS dude, ANDROID is 100 times betta than symbian (notice I spelt symbian in lowercase) in every aspect.

*Droid users really needs to work more on their phone and bring out good reasons why a NOKIA BELLE device should be thrown into the trash can o. Though i have been much more into using Symbian, i had an HTC Chacha last year for few months cos i dont really feel my symbian Anna update much, i know it aint as expensiv as a galaxy or the xperias but at least i don run Gingerbread too before putting it aside when belle was leaked. both OS are interesting but i will compare based on Naija utilization plus my own personal use and not that of the normal oyinbo usage on and criticism.
*I was expecting some irrelivant points like SO MANY APPS FOR ANDROID THAN NOKIA. wtf?! i dont expect anyone from my own country to say dis na? how many have u downloaded & Used?? how many of dem are useful for u? not to talk of the fact that most of them do the same job, Some Droid market addict knows what i mean. U can find ALL, Yes, ALL USEFUL applications from droid market at NOKIA store. check it out yourself.
*Android OS maximum battery consumption is hell. Abeg HTC Chacha users, quote me wrong o, dont u charge ur damn phones every 2hrs of usage Yeah i know cos i was once a victim, i even got 1 battery free. i know HTC aint d only android phone, but what about the other products with droids too? are their battery life worth talking about??
*Droid consumes more data usage. i wont blame google for doing that, they expect their phone OS to have the same features like their Linux OS for PC.
*NoKia makes good HARDWARES no be lie talk. A good hardware combined with a belle OS? Ask Jedisco, Ogid-Olu & Flameforx. they can tell
Abeg no eat me raw Droid lovers o, didnt say droid is bad, infact i ll hav to admit that BELLE OS UI was copied from the combination of Droid and iOS, Android Game graphics cant be compared with that of Symbian, but Nokia HD Games aint bad at all, based on the fact that it ll run smooth on just a single core. A good droid phone with no dual core cpu these days is a NO-NO, whereas belle ll run smooth on a single core cos it s lighter.
Other OS addicts and symbian critics needs to wake up and try out what BELLE has to offer, u cant compare symbian s40s and s60s of the olden days with symbian^3, not to even talk of BELLE! Damn! its no more symbian... Its NOKIA BELLE! dont u get it? lol
Android is so awesome but it pays to be on BELLE than any other OS for now. Gbam

Most apps come out with iphone android and blackberry user. rarely do you see a symbian version.

Nokia forgets that in this age of the net its apps that drive people, a point iphone and android seems to have gotten while blackberry is catching up on.

The apps may be useless at times but hey it exists for some people who may find it useful. rather than it does not exist at all.

Typical i was looking for a firewall app once for my E6 did not find on at all while on a droid it comes with netquips mobile security or avast or norton security. or if you phone is rooted, you can use droidwall which i found to be the best in the market so far.

Again i was looking for a browser that would not involve me switching from screen to screen. till i found overscreen browser which one can maximize and minimize with out holding the home button.

Was also looking for a mod opera for android,found an opera 6 and 7 mod for it

So you see,its the app thar drives it.

Finally there a crash app out there thats called tasker that i want to pay for.

The app allows you to really turn your phone into and over smart one.

By automatically setting tasks at assign times or locations.

Like lowering the screen brightness when your indoors and increasing it when your outside,turning on your wifi when your at your favourote wifi hot spot.switching to flight mode when in a plane as it raises. Opens a connecting at your wake up time on your browser to your favourite pages. The app does all this by itself,after you set it up.

It's either u'v neva used belle or u just dont knw how to search ovi store. U couldn't find a firewall app for E6 when there is netqin, fsecure, norton, etc.? Na wa for u o. Even s60v5 has firewall.

About the tasker 4 android, the only sensible point u wrote was the screen brightness adjustment when u're indoor or outdoor which is a normal feature on belle devices cos all belle devices have proximity sensors so, we dont need an app 4 dat.

store o, i'm just sayin it's nt important 4 ME and i cant waste a dime on it! We even have an app that u can set the time u usually sleep and wake up, say 10pm-6am, and when it gets to this time, ur fone will automatically switch to power saving mode and exits it wen u wake up.

I tried the demo tasker and i set it for 3 cybercafes in my area so that once i am close to the by 20 meters my wifi turns on and auto connects to them.

i use wifi static and wifi hack to get get into them, takes 15mins to do that. But all this was set on tasker. so it just notified me of the connection and notified me that wifi hack was done.

i ask again, does you belle have an app that does that or a wifi hack app (iphone and android only) that can replicate this.

Mafia4life: I really love symbian. Nokia made mistake by announcing to leave the OS 2016. Apps ar no more supported on symbian. Now tell me guys. Which app allows u to video call someone on facebook (Mobile to Mobile, PC to mobile) or Video call someone from PC to mobile or Mobile to PC? This is the main reason why I left Symbian. Fring is just mobile to mobile. I needed to see my relations outside the country. Tango and ooVoo does this very well.

What is a smartphone without a good battery? I borrowed a friend's SG2 and wanted to play PES to checked for d 'hyped' hd graphics and i noticed that anytime i remove my hand 4rm the screen, the display would go off. He told me dat i had to keep my hand on the screen if i wanted to play d game and that he did it to save battery. I just looked at him and smiled. And honestly, there was no difference in graphics, he just had a larger screen.
And FYI, belle has better maps, better hardware-to-match than its android counterpart(camera inclusive).

Yes, we all knw dat android has more apps than belle but give me the important apps u av that belle doesn't av. I actually tot 'drop' was the only android's 'dropbox' equivalent until i saw 'cutebox' at ovi store and i'm rily loving it.

Siri is to ios as Vlingo is to Belle!

And one more point, av u ever seen an app developed with qt? If u avn't, u sud see it. The GUI is superb! Windows, belle and even ur linux uses qt but no android and ios.
