I don't know if WAEC still changes the date of birth on one's certificate after release. I heard it used to be possible, but now it has been replaced with swearing a court affidavit that the age on your certificate is incorrect. All these are hearsay. Try to contact WAEC.

Yes, my original transcript has my age on it. I don't know if it is the same across all universities in Naija, but that is how it works at the naija school I graduated from a couple of years ago. For the BSc degree certificate itself, I am not sure if one's age is written on it. The ones I have seen, no dates of birth on them

I don't know what you are studying, but doctors and a few other professionals are not affected by age in the job market.

To effect a change of date of birth on your waec certificate will be a tough one, buh you can still try.
As per the transcript, that can be changed easily at the student affairs dept, just go to the appropriate quarter and present your new birth cert. and they will effect the change.
Btw, why do you wanna do that? Its uncalled for.

Firstly, the link you sent to me and I presume, the others is misleading. Please, copy the url correctly and resend to the others.
Secondly, transcripts from UNN carry your age- day, month and year of birth. Certificates dont.
Thirdly, I wont ask why you need to present a false you but the truth is I dont know if WAEC can issue another certificate with another date of birth, but I do know like my brother Tanimola just said that affidavits can be sworn to cover up.
If I were an employer or admin. and I see a different dob in your transcript,result and affidavit, its going to alert me.

Is that a new career tactic now?

As at two years ago,it would have been possible to modify the age on your WAEC certificate.
UNIBEN does not indicate DOB on its certificate but does so in its transcripts.I will advise you to face your studies and pick up an interest in one or two professional certifications.
