Namecheap accepts my GTB Mastercard (Dollar account) and my UBA Africard (Naira account). Also Godaddy accepts both of them as well.

Note there are basically two types of MasterCards: Classic and Debit

Some sites accept only Classic cards (as with Visa too). GTB offers both, but you would have to specify with you need when requesting, else they default to the "MasterCard Debit" as the commission they receive for each transaction is higher!

Hi go to www.lixdomains.com for your domain name registration. naira or dolar master card from any nigeria bank is accepted. The domain is also packed for you instantly pending when u have decided to point it to your choice name server.

This issue is simple if u are paying at namecheap use your GTBank card to Add funds in your account u will see the button facing u in ur name cheap home page.Click on it and fund it.Then from there u can make ur payment from the funds in ur account.Very simple.

Guys help me o cos this is very urgent. My GTB Mastercard was not approved by NameCheap. This is my first time of using it. I got the token and have also activated the card. There is enough funds in the card and I already have the activation code. Why did namecheap reject it because i heard so many reviews that they accept the gtb mastercard. Pls help me. hello, i will suggest u try the zenith bank buxz card, i got it from maitama here in abuja and i have used it to buy my domains (sorry we don't buy domains we rent,i think it should be possible to buy domains,but NO the internet Gods say we can't we should continue renting lol ) and hosting package on namecheap, i bought capcha's for article marketing robot with it, and i used it to buy proxies for scrapebox. I have also used it for google adwords, media buy, facebook ppv, lead impact, adon network, and lots of other programs ! That card is a "champ in it's own domain" what it does i mean. It cost $100 minimum, $20 for card (annually) $5 for loading card and $1.5 for each transaction. Holla me if u need more info.

You cant verify paypal in Nigeria unless you want to start trying to circumvent their system and terms. Dont waste your time.

No where in Enddystar's post did he mention paypal.

If you are getting any of these cards from our local banks, the address on it will surely be your Nigerian address. UBA will even do a phisical address verification in the case of their UBA AFRICARD . secondly, even if in some magical and strange way, the Bank registers your card with a foreign address, there is also the AVS(Address Verification System) that Paypal puts in place that would flag any transactions you make from Nigeria. Leave Paypal alone. They dont want Nigeria (at least for now).The more you keep trying to circumvent their system, the more you give them confirmation that we are crooked and hence, further delay any plans or moves to accomodate Nigeria.

Well said and am convinced but there are certain things that can only be bough from eBay as fairly used because nowhere else can one get it new because it's no more manufactured e.g. HP TM2 tablet PC. And am sure you know most eBay sellers only accept PayPal. What advise would you profer?

I think amazon sells fairly used stuff as well. Am not sure but I have bought books from Amazon(though not fairly used) and my cards were not rejected.

I collected mine May 2011.

Bought another domain on namecheap with my GTB master card about 5 mins ago.I did not add funds this time around.I typed my name in Caps as it appears on card and filled in the necessary details.Payment processed no hassles.

Get the visa card if your serious about this business. It cost less than 40K. Go back to the and get a domicilliary account this should be easy as you already have an account with them. Then lodge another $150 and ask for a visa card form, fill and go back after 9 days .... collect your card and buy your girl something is DOLLARS .....
