i have been with this girl for a couple of years, but she has refused to tell me anything positive about myself. She tells me all time how much she loves me, she will do anything I ask her to do, but has never told she likes anything about me. I've got a big ego, and all the girls I know tell me how cute, intelligent, savvy, and smart I'm; but my girl has never told me that. She wants me to praise her everyday but will never reciprocate it, all she ever say is that, that's the way she is. I'm confused here, and I'm planning to leave the girl; but every time I leave her, she always become suicidal. She calls my phone for hours, crying and telling me I'm the only guy she has ever loved. I'm confused here. I just can't fathom how a girl can love a guy she never says anything positive to? |

She is trying to teach you that egoism is not a good thing. Humility is one of the key to any successful relationship so get it in your head. Her love should be enough for you. And women always crave praise. You should talk/teach her also that you need sometimes praise. 1 Like |

Op, the babe loves you, no doubt about that; it's possible to love someone you are way smarter than, no law against that as well. What am i saying? Here's what am saying :- to that babe, you are not intelligent enough, you are not good enough at conversation, you are not particularly handsome. So why should she deceive you? Why should she call you what are not? My point is :- stick to that babe for she truely loves you. |

You need her to sing those things you claim into your head just to raise your ego right? Why not appreciate the love she has for you and be contend with that. After all, you know you got those qualities as such, you necessarily not need anyone to remind you except you are not convinced you have those qualities. |
