Well for that you don't need c++,phthon what you need is objective C and to compile apps you MUST use a mac, if you something like jqtouch you'll still have to use a mac for the signing key speaking of which you'll have to pay $99 per year to apple to become and iOS developer this also applies to mac for yours apps to be in the mac app store
Get a mac or you jqtouch
You can get objective c tutorials at developer.apple.com
If you know C# or java you'll be fine
Then download Xcode
Then start programming

you can run MAC OS on your windows machine if your PC supports hardware virtualization... That means like 4GB ram up to 2.8ghz core i3(or higher) processors and upto 512mb (or more) dedicated graphics memory...

I was not able to pull it off though... My system did not meet the minimum requirements.... But I was able to get all the tools I needed. I found out there were two ways of doing it... One way required a deep tweaking of a system's BIOS and the other way was using VMware version 7 or higher and a certain modified version of MAC OS X (some 4gb or more of download). I had to use the 2nd way... Took me some weeks to get all that I needed (torrent). I knew that my PC did not meet the minimum requirements but I figured it will only cause a poor performance. When I finally started installing the MAC OS I got to a point where I had to enable hardware virtualization in my BIOS to continue... I couldn't find it. I found a on microsoft's site that enables you check if your system supports hardware virtualization and test for my system came up negative. I haven't seen one that supports it. So before you even attempt this be very very prepared...

My system is up to that requirement and i have tried and tried yet nothing seems to work. I wouldnt come in here if i wasnt fed up. I did all to my knowledge yet same issue continued. I'ma try getting a mac pro that the least option right now . well thanks all the same .

Hmmm, virtual machines are never as smooth as the real deal. I run virtual windows xp, vista and 7 on my fedora using VirtualBox but the research I've done tells me virtual Apple OS only run on Apple hosts except you do some heavy hacking as he has mentioned.

Anyway, Android is hot and you can always do for the good old PC
