OMG Nigeria just gathered that, there was a mini riot at the Jos NYSC camp yesterday. Soldiers reportedly used force on corp members who were protesting for relocation. The DG made a visit to the corp members and told them to eschew violence and learn to be smart around their places of primary assignment. After several questions has been entertained, the DG decided to take his leave. An eye witness says “corp members were seen chanting several anti government songs after the DG and his entourage as he approaches his vehicle, the military personnels had protected the DG. One of the protesters, an Obafemi Awolowo University graduate was badly injured and others sustained a mild degree of injuries. Meanwhile, some corps members said that, the incident would have been averted if their questions on the proper procedure of redploying were properly answered.
