Please do not misunderstand me i am a believer and i do believe in heaven and hell but some things that happened in the past and my recent experience made me ask that question .

As a teenager, i have been brought up in a pentecostal xtian way, i believe the word of God and respect men of God. When i was in SS2 i had financial difficulty and sought for assistance of one of my very senior pastor who accepted me with open arms, he took me to his family and made everyone see me as part of the family. After my SSCE he asked what i wanted to do travel out or further my education and i choose to further, he then promised to help through it BUT one day he secretely asked me when no one was there if i am sure no one has tourched his 'fish', i was confused and he explained in a way that meant he wanted me to get matured and he could start sleeping with me. I withdrew from him.

When i made my papers i sought for help from another senior pastor, he wasted no time the same day i told him my plight he took me to an hotel and promised me heaven and earth, i refused to sleep with him i was only 17 then, he took all the money he showed me back and dropped me off without bus fare very far from my house it took me 30 mins to walk home. I was determined to make something out my life by educating myself but was financially handicapped, i proceded to another person in the church who happened to be my sunday school teacher, he also promised me heaven and earth and gave me money for jamb, after i had written the jamb he came to our house when i was the only one at home and asked me to come and watch cinema, i was happy and followed him and after the cinema he took me to an hotel and told me he would take care of me if i agree, i refused him and told him i was virgin he told me if the worst should come he would marry me at the time he has a wife like the previous ones and has 4 kids. I refused bluntly and he told me point blank he could not help me in that case. I told him that he is my teacher in the sunday school and that he has told us several times how fornicators would go to hell. He told me not to bother myself that Solomon had wives and concubines and was a man after God's heart and that its His grace that will take us to heaven.

All these happened over 15 years now and recently i was away on holidays where i met this vibrant Nigerian pastor who was making waves around that area, he is respected by xtians in that community and is considered a real man of God. We met and got talking and during my stay he told me of how much he admired me even though i was married. I asked him what happened to adultery as a sin, i was not really suprised with my past experience but i wanted his reaction on that and what he said was that 'all our righteousness are like filty rag before God and who can stay without a sin in this world and that sin is sin either its a simple lie or furnication or killing or whatever and that it is only grace that will take care of them all'.

Hummmmmmm i began to wonder if the pastors are actually deceiving people about heaven and hell, if its actually real and if anyone will be qualified to get in.

poster, those are false pastors that use the name of God in vain. Its sad what some people do and still claim to be pastors or 'men' and 'women' of God. I believe heaven and hell is real though.
