how can i stop dis application called openlicencer on my nokia c5? Whenever i close d application and process wit mobilecguard,i discovered dt it opens itself back within mins.meanwhile it was not like that.dis issue starts few days ago,moreover i dont av anyapplication called openlicencer on my phone.wen i checked its path it as- c : \sys\bin
\popenlicensersrv.exe.pls how can i stop it from opening automatically.thanks

coz i dont av any application on my phone called openlicensr.check its path.its inside c.

Go to your application manager.... Check your installed apps or installation files and see if you can find it there,then remove it...

Open Licenser probably belongs to an application already installed in your phone. It is a payment system for mobile devices. You probably have an application on your phone that allows you to buy content online from your mobile phone, such application is powered by Open Licenser.

.you are very correct,after much web search,i discovered dt d open stuff is associated wit an application called traveller,dis application called traveller was nt installed by me,it is a follow come application,by dis i meant dt it was installed rite from d factory by nokia,find attached screen shot!pls wat do you advice me to do,coz i dont like it wen application start automatically.even if i close d open stuff wit mguard,it will still open it self after sometimes meanwhile d traveller application itself is nt running.pls help me out.thanks for your concern and advice

.sorry bro.av seen d open licenser in my application manager,its installed in phone memory,am not the one that installed It,it was installed from d factory by nokia,wat i dont know now is that is it safe to uninstall it?wont it affect d function of other application? Wont i need it in future?i attached some screen shots.Thanks

My friend, why would u want to remove a factory installed app? Does it in any way affect the phone performance?

Well i deleted mine some time back,and it didn't affect my phonne in any way.I did not see any needed to leave it on my phone cos i don't think i need it in any way.. I don't buy applications online,who get that time ...lol

it doesnt affect it but it consumes my ram and thereby consume battery faster

Well i did mine and nothing happened. I know that feeling sha. You are afraid that if you do so so and so,it might cause some problems in the phone.

I used to have that kind of feeling,but i realised that phones were made to be customer friendly and not scary.. And i operate anywhere on ma phone,i go deep and deep and nothing happens..
If you stop getting scared of ya phone you will be able to solve most of it's problem with common sense....

thanks bro.wat am still confused Of is dis,its not dt i just bought the phone,av been using dis same phone for months and dis problem didnt occured,wat i notice was dt, d problem started like 5days ago wen i did software update via device manager,it was after then open licenser starts to open itself without my consent,i wonder if its d latest software version dt gave it d impetus,audacity,authority and above all the confidence to start itself!

Mehhhhn! We r in d same boat! I discovered this same "openlicencer" always running in the background. Been wondering y my phone'z battery doesnt last upto a day. Could it be explained by this "openlicenser" from Psiloc's Traveller? But Im just afraid to delete it...
