Their religion (Islam) comes from Arabs, their clothing (turbans) comes from Tuaregs, their style of architecture is derived from Islamic/Arab architecture, their script (Ajami/Arabic), their traditional titles are Emirs and Sultans other Arab/muslim nonsense while Yorubas are Obas and Igbos are Ezes. The traditional religions of sahelian muslims have gone extinct while Ifa (Yoruba) and Odinani (Igbo) still exists and thrives even with the coming of Christinanity. Sahelian names are Arabic first and last. Yorubas and Igbos have the real indigenous African names. |
