First, He needs to get a sound Lawyer who will file for a "Stay of Execution" pending the outcome of the Divorce.
In the meantime, the Lawyer should file another Motion on notice, that he has been of Good Behavior and that this "adverse situation" is not of his making and he should not be punished, for the adultery of his Wife.

In the time in-between, he will look for any Job (but he may already be working and is just on a Spousal Visa) and File for a "Leave tTo Remain" Visa, based on Employment or even a Humanitarian Leave to Remain.
The Lawyer will drag-out the Proceeding, using all manner of Legal "opportunities", they will still be on it, for the next 18Months..

That Man is going No-Where, except if he already has some pending Criminal Infractions in the UK.

Get it straight . It's not gender thing. The woman is the principal applicant or owner of the visa and the husband and kids are dependants. If the man was the principal applicant or owner of the visa , after divorce the woman or wife is no longer a dependant of the man and also the visa , so the woman will also be sent home too.

Most Nigerian wives are burden to their husbands. If you migrate to a western country with your wife, she may cheat.lf you complain, she can divorce you and also influence the authority to deport you.

On the other hand, if you travel abroad alone leaving your wife behind she will surely have concubines and gigolo because body no be firewood..

If the husband is very rich abroad and his wife living with him there wants to deal with him,she only needs to request for a divorce for whatever reason. Her request will be granted and half or all of the husband's property including their house will be given to her and the children. Very sad story, however he can still remain in the U.K. on another visa route as he can clearly claim domestic violence case against his wife as she was cheating which may have caused him emotional distress.
