But don't you think some might be beacuze they want go reduce cost and on the long run establish that there would be need for such position. For instance, if I run a SME and I started out all by myself and the need for say receptionist arises, I will want to reduce cost by first employing an SIWES student after 6months, then hire an OND IT student who needs IT placement, after that I will need hand by then probably the business has grown, I will hire a Corp member after service, I can now decide to hire full time.
My thoughts.

Any company with indians as managers or top executives should be avoided.
They are as useless as the b in debt.
They will ridicule you yet pay you as low as 20k as a graduate.

I still don't know why most Nigerians preffers to search for job in these twenty first century instead of creating one from scrash and watch it grow by monitoring it for few years. The CEO/MD of these firms are taking most nigerians for a ride, since they know over 90% of our graduates believe in using the USELESS PAPER CERTIFICATE OFFERED BY UNIVERSITIES in and outside Nigeria for job hunting and not using the knowledge they have acquired for creating jobs that will absorb others. You people should stop making noise, if you are not comfortable with your current firm, then resign, your firm knows hundreds more like you will apply to fill the vacant space. If foreigners like LEBANESSE, INDIA and CHINESE smile back to their country as a result of the ROI from there investment, i see know excuse while millions of our graduates especially engineers roaming our streets in search of a job that do not exist. Nigeria is the best place to invest in because of the cheap labour due to the over saturated labour market, in effective labour laws due to corruption in NLC and government officials. To be successful in life is not easy especially in these part of the world but it pays in the long run. Start a business in a less competing niche and watch it grows, I hope in few years someone will invite me for a drink.

Southwestern University, Ogun State.
Infact, that place is a shiithole. workers go for 10 months without pay. yes, 10 months. After 4 months there, i had to run. na by force i collected 1 month salary. Literal force ni o, we ganged up and entered the chancellor's office and stated that he pay us asap. This same chancellor, an ijebu man spends millions at parties and clubs.
I regretted ever submitting application there.

Most one man business and private companies in Nigeria are guilty of this.
The economy is so unfavorable that it affects these organizations.
However, some of them are just plain bad.

Most of these companies face challenges such as:
Logistic challenges.
Low patronage.
Epileptic power supply. Everybody can testify how much they spend on diesel at work daily.
High cost of internet.
Government tax.
Expensive rent for office spaces.
It is sad.

This however is not a reason to owe your staff.
Employ those you can pay and do not depend on projections totally. Understand the realistic circumstances of our environment and grow at a "stealthy" rate.

A business is established for profit not charity hence cost is reduce to maximize profit. Whatever rocks your boat.

Globacom telecom! Contract staff work like donkey, those de call permament staff are treated like slaves unless you are ready to lick the ass of a top manager. You can stay there forever without ur salary increased,unless u become enslaved to a top manager. The have silly,lazy,eye-service and lousy CLUSTER MANAGERS( esp the women who can insult a staff and nothing is done about it).Some ladies go around sleepn with de Ogas and the MAIN CHAIRMAN.
You don't make progress in that company,unless u pull out or resign and break the jinx.
To much favoritism and slander........won't mention names.If u are not in de cycle or good books of some self made gods,u are as good as rubbish there.
Glo doesn't have HMO,no allowance,no prospects,owing the contractors that supply them things...........above all being headed by Indians(hindus) who see u as nothing.
