Hi, i would appreciate it if anybody could help out with the configuration of our network providers(any celtel,mtn,glo) sms gateways. I specifically need their SMSC configuration. Details i need:

supported communication protocol
IP addresses
User/Password (If authentication is needed)
port number

Any info on how messages are delivered on these networks would be great.

The configuration for Celtel I can tell you but I don't know about other networks.
Access Wap
apn:wap.ng.celtel.com
password:wap
username:wap
ip/proxy:172.018.254.005
but won't work your SIM needs to be have been activated.
All other fields leave blank

farouqzaib: The celtel config u provided doesnt seem to be valid. Cos the IP address isnt live. I believe the IP should be pingable. Still looking forward to any hint dat could be of help. Am interested in the sms gateway settings.

Your request is for smsc right? In that case the info posted above for Celtel is NOT for smsc. That's wap on phone.

If my assumption is correct, then what you're asking for are the data to be able to implement sms sending routing through the networks of these GSM companies, right?

Unfortunately that is privileged information. You can only get that information from the networks themselves because THEY WANT to give it to you. Besides, even if one of us here has the username and password, those are usually linked to paid-for sms credits so they'd be no use to you since they're set up per user.
